So before we all get a 1st round predictions destroyed by wildcards defeating every top seeded team, how about SCF predictions? As is, right now, last 10 games.
Mine is Calgary vs Florida with Florida in 7.
Hate to root against the Lightning but they're very obviously in a mind over matter rut that unless they're playing some 9000 IQ misdirection just looking completely outclassed. Top line is a turn over machine. IMO all the best top lines right now are immensely stacked on their plus/minus. Calgary, Colorado, Florida, Carolina.
That being said, if the Lightning get their mental game right I'd never count them out. We'll see how the Monday game against Toronto goes. I'll be watching from the Loge!

So tough to even predict for me. Especially until we see the match ups. For example, Canes scare the hell out of me, but I can see the Caps upsetting them.
I'm gonna get crazy and say Panthers and the Wild. Cats in 6.
Flames are hella good, but I really like what the Wild have done. They are gonna be a TOUGH team to beat in 7 IMO.
Dream scenario is Rangers/Kings for some sweet sweet redemption. Just not against Sutter and the Flames. They'd kill us.

Philly and Boston fans would never let that happen at their stadium. In fact I don't think any fan base except tampa would. But then again how do you stop it?
Also why does Cooper keep matching their top line with ours. Our top line is garbage defensively and it's why we're the most hat tricked team this year.

As of right now I'll say the Panthers are slightly better than the Canes and I think we would probably lose a 7 game series to them. I'm also always going to concerned about any series against Tampa because Canes have to prove they can beat them in a playoff series. I don't think it's that crazy to say that every East playoff team has the ability to beat anyone so nothing would shock me in terms of upsets.
Out west I just don't see anyone beating Colorado. Wild are good but not on the same level IMO.

Better game by us tonight for sure, but it's hard to get excited with florida looming as likely Round 1 match up. I'd feel better against Carolina. Just don't think we can score nearly enough consistently to keep up with Panthers, and neither of our goalies is going Halak on that team.

Shitsburg in playoff form last night. Literally crying to the refs after every whistle while getting away with murder all over the place. Malkin with some cheap shots and a clean but predatory hit on Motte late in the 3rd which ends his season. Forgot how whiney they were.
On the one hand, i'd love for the Rangers to knock them out in the first round. On the other, i'd hate to see them lose to one sided officiating. Nothing is worse than that.
Gonna be one of the rare times I root for the Caps next game they play.

But did you really root for us when noted goal scorer Tom Wilson scored the eventual game winner in the 3rd, also matching his career high in goals for a season in doing so?
Actually didn't get to see the game, but heard there was some interesting moments. hard to be upset with a 6-3 win on the road with 45 shots on goal.

Didn't watch either, was taking my second daily nap. I was hoping for Wilson to do what he actually does best but he can't even do that right so a goal is fine I guess.
