Two straight up muggings that go uncalled so I'm going with the refs. Also that Point goal a few mins ago was downright dirty from that clear/pass to the score.

Anyone would be crazy not to want him, but I think we'll be cup contenders in a few years regardless so why give everyone away to a team that probably won't be? It would literally just flip the script.

No I get it, it's an interesting discussion like what would REALLY be a package that might actually make it possible. I really don't know. He's just insane right now, they just need to build a better team around him.

Thank goodness for Jarry failing the Penguins tonight. Now that they're out, don't care who wins it all, but will probably root for Avs since Grubi and Burakovsky are there.

I take it back, the refs in this VGK game are way worse. These are the fucks I hate the most. I feel like they're just trying their hardest to stretch game 7s.

I feel like Colorado will beat Minnesota in 5 tops, so I'm kind of pulling for Vegas just to see what a Colorado/Vegas series would look like

With the giant leap the NFL is making, I really hope this is not true. Hockey really deserves to grow. I hope the (potentially) greater exposure from being on ESPN changes the narrative if this really is the case

They're going from 300mm a year to 625mm a year from ESPN and Turner. And each owner just got 50mm from Seattle's expansion fee. They can fuck right off.

The problem isn't the owners being cheap, its that players are responsible for 50% of the losses incurred the past 2 seasons and can't exactly pay out the billions to the owners as a group in a short time frame. The cap is frozen to freeze how much players earn and make up the money they owe.
