Ive never seen a goalie swap ho well for a team other then because an injury. It's such a morale hit and really throws off the team in little subtle ways.

I doubt very seriously Ullmark would have made a difference. What was his save % on the series, like 880 or some shit? We’ll never know but this is just silly talk. If he played and the Panthers still won, people would say “how could you keep him in there?”.

Analytics point to this being wrong. Goalies undeniably benefit from rest the same as any other person in any other situation. There's a reason you don't see goalies starting 70 games in the regular season anyore. It's a trend that hasn't hit the playoffs yet but the clock is ticking, its inevitable. Meanwhile, more memes.
