Grinding out the collect all the familiars trophy is going to be no joke. I would be shocked if was done with it.

30 hours in, I'm starting to lay back on the collecting. Made a new line up using each characters affinity. Now I'm leveling them up, this game is going to take a long ass time. Love it!
I'm human, not a machine, you sick sick people. Just beat the main story (+ all the optional stuff available up to that point) at 48 hours, 14 minutes. Lots of post-game stuff to do now.

20-30 points isnotnegligible in this game. Even that amount of a stat has a fairly significant impact. It's definitely worth maxing out the low-cap/high-growth familiars. They also happen to shit all over the high-cap/low-growth familiars.
Play time at 55 hours on the dot now. I've done everything except the final shitty Alchemy quest that requires some really dumb farming, probably finish that up tomorrow or something. All the trophies I have left are obnoxious grind ones and I have no clue if I'll bother platinuming this or not, I don't like extremely excessive grinding.

The art in this game is by a studio famous for children's movies... So I seriously doubt you're going to get "less pussy versions" of any monster.
I am finding the extra character AI is just terrible. If i do not micro manage every character the ones being controlled by AI tend to die real easy unless they have their "uber" tank pet out.

Yeah I have them set to do not use abilities and just give them a strong melee/tank familiar or they just burn all their mana using stupid shit like Esters evasion buff.
