There is def going to be some rule 34 with the ladies on the boat mode in this game lol
The costumes are funny, you get them via eating happy meals of various types, its regional and there are a few of each region to eat and get the costume lol
Touring peach cosplays will be frequent
Daisy, surprisingly, is where it's at. Swimsuit Daisy is probably the best, she's got a few sexy outfits though. Pauline is also in that ballpark, whether in the red dress or the tight racing uniform (weirdly enough they only gave her two outfits). None of Peach's outfits really do it for me, she's too classy. Rosalina's got a couple decent ones, but by and large she's also too classy. Daisy looks like a wildcat in the sack, and Pauline is probably helping a lot of teenage boys figure out puberty.
Considering Mario Kart has like, never had any sex appeal before, the costumes on the female characters really surprised me. Lawl.
yeah i've had mine 2 days and played 45 mins total, mario kart is ok but unless you have a huge boner from your childhood for the game i just don't see why the fuck normies are buying this console. the only case that makes sense is the dude who has ignored gaming for 10 years, finally decides to get into it and NEEDS a handheld (baby, travel, 1 hour commute on trains, can use handheld at work) and wants to play games from the past decade. even then i think an oled steam deck is way better, especially now that almost all games come to steam.
ubi and microsoft should be announcing more switch 2 ports soon of their big hits from the past few years, it'll be kinda weird to see forza horizon 5, indiana jones, etc out on switch 2 this year. it would be cool if gamepass ever could run on switch 2 but i don't ever see that happening unless microsoft buys nintendo.
one nice thing, switch 2 fits perfectly fine inside a steam deck case, I have 2-3 extras of those so just put it in the one with a strap and screen protector and I'm good to go.
and yeah the switch 2 pro controller is sublime, its better than the switch 1 pro controller. Its a little smaller especially height wise, the buttons feel great, there are 2 new back buttons, and of course it can turn your switch 2 on unlike old switch 1 controllers (what a shitty thing to do lol)
I had a chance to get a Switch 2 Pro Controller at launch and didn't. Regretting it now because the old one can't turn the system on (yeah, shitty thing to do lol) and I'm hearing good things about the new one. Nobody seems to have it in stock though, at least from the 3 stores I called. Going to order one I guess.
credit score so bad, can't even open a store credit card...
Sort of sounds like the Best Buy employees were trying to boost their store's credit card signup numbers, sort of like how Gamestop employees used to be under threat of death to get people to sign up for Rewards Pro cards or whatever it was called.
It's a joke, but Best Buy seems kind of archaic and weird now. I try to do pretty much anything in there and it's like "we can't do that". The best thing is when there's a particular product you have to order online, even though they have it in the store, then wait for it to be prepared for "store pickup" at the store you're standing in. There's other bizarre bullshit too. My local store is run by an Elizabeth Warren lookalike who has decided to hire entirely [employees of unnamed race] in the last few months and at this point [employees of unnamed race] have pretty much become the entire staff. Each time I go in there the place is a little messier and more and more employees are standing around on their phones. Went in there yesterday to see if they had Switch 2 Pro Controllers, was told I had to order it online. There was a woman next to me trying to return something and asking if they could open a second register (and there were people starting to pile up in line) while 7-8 (I'm serious, 7 or 8) employees [of unimportant ethnicity] stood around either fooling with their phones or chatting with each other or just wandering around.
Funny part was when they were trying to process this woman's return, this one [different race from everyone else] guy had to come over and figure out how to do it, and a bunch of other employees stood around watching him, and the number of them grew as the seconds went by. Then my own cashier stopped processing me and just started standing there watching the transaction all the other employees were standing around watching. I was like "is there a reason we're all standing here watching this guy process a return?" and she snapped out of the trance and continued cashing me out.
Anyway, draw your own conclusions. Whole thing and the whole place were mind-bogglingly bizarre.
