Nothing is "here" as in "The forum" or "FoH" - but there have been a few solo dev projects by forum members, some long term, some popped in to promote etc. would have to go peek at the general game thread.

My second book is with test readers currently, should be releasing it by this summer.
I started writing my third book tonight. I’ve been working on the outline and research for about a month but started the penning tonight. My goal is to have the first draft complete by end of year. One a year is a pretty steady pace as far as hobbies go, I think.

Nah, fanfic is lazy writing.
Sometimes, it breaks out.
50 Shades of Gray started off as a Twilight fanfic (confirmed).
But a lot of celebrated fanfic writers, when they write their own original work, cannot do it. Because the lack the basic foundational skills of writing fiction. Creating fiction isn't solely plot. That's a big part of it, but a fanfic writer only has to be concerned about plot. There is no worldbuilding, character development, character creation, etc, involved in writing fanfic.
