Actual 4080 is fine, the 4070 is fine when you consider it's a 4070, but they had to try to increase the value by name

Yeah I got the zotac easily at 8. Have had good success with them in the past though the MSI Suprim was hard to pass up…

yeah FEs sold out within a min at best buy although since there are a ton of bots that auto checkout there a lot probably went to resellers

I think the 16gb itself might be rip off as well…

The 16GB starts at $1199, so 75% of the price of a 4090 for less than 60% of the CUDA cores (9728 vs 16384).

Feels like there is A LOT of room between the 4090 and 16g 4080 for multiple skus. Whole thing is really strange

The 4080 12GB has 7680 CUDA cores, so 46.875% of that of the 4090 while costing 56.25% of the price. It even has exactly half the memory and half the bandwidth.

if you have a microcenter they will be in stock today at open but expect lines, in store only sales for 4090s

re: bby people on discords with bots posting they got one so it was in stock but you basically had no chance without a bot

Yeah i see them on ebay - no biggie my 3090Ti will hold up till gpu comes in stock, maybe AMD will put out a banger -it helps i have no games to play anyways.

I only play games on a 60hz 4K TV these days so a 3090 is more than enough. Also there are so few good new games, it's like games are going the way of woke movies, just shitty remakes with good ones few and far between.

Yes, I expect to see a 4080 Ti and a 4080 Ti Super at some point, given the gap.

I bet the 4080 Ti is out sooner than anyone expects.

I dont think AMD will have an uplift like Nvidia but even 40% will be more than enough for 95% of what i play to always max out 4k138hz
