I could've written the second episode:

Leia: "You're not who you say you are!"
Leia: Runs away
Obi-Wan: "Leia!"
Leia: Keeps running
Obi-Wan: "Leia!"
Leia: Keeps running
Obi-Wan: "Leia!"
Leia: Keeps running
Obi-Wan: "Leia!"
Leia: Stands at edge of roof
Obi-Wan: "Leia!"
Leia: Stands at edge of roof
Obi-Wan: "Leia!"
Leia: Stands at edge of roof
Obi-Wan: "Leia!"
Leia: Jumps
Obi-Wan: "Leia! No!"

Holy shit this show is bad.

Yeah this might be worse than Boba Fett, can't believe Kumal was somehow one of the only good parts of the show somehow

Dont forget in Rebels when Vader shows up (Set After OBI) Kanan and crew have no idea who Vader is. He was kept a pretty big secret, rumours and hushed whispers. A sith lord who klls everyone he is around and leaves no witnesses. Vader is not super well known during those years and only later during the main rebellion does he become more well known.

Id also imagine Obi basically lived in a cave and worked head down for 10 years with almost no interaction with the broader world. WHy would some backwater like tatooine/anchorhead have rumours/news of Vader.

Is it really any different from 'This was your father's lightsaber, he murdered dozens of young children with it'
Lucas didn't care about continuity, so why should these people? It isn't like he handed them a carefully planned out series of events, characters and plotlines. Lucas is lucky he hit it big with Star Wars, otherwise he would have only found job as a script writer for pornos.

Or Obi-Wan lived in a cave on a backwater desert planet in the Outer Rim for ten years.
With no link to the outside "world", even if it was primarily one way? Again, that's just silly, especially after the ending of RoTS where it's made pretty implicit that the remaining good guy crew would stay in contact and coordinate an emergence when the time was right.

I've never watched any of the cartoons so maybe Vader really did only operate in a clandestine fashion at the Emperor's behest. He's clearly a well-known symbol of terror by the time of ANH.

The "Red Blades" are reasonably well known throughout the galaxy, Vader is not.

ANH continuity should really just be viewed more like guidelines rather than actual rules.

Even though I haven't seen it get used in the show yet is anyone else get rustled every time they show it on the Grand inquisitors back?

Screen Crush is guessing the little black jedi youngling at the very beginning of the first episode is that inquisitor chick and that when Order 66 came down, that she was part of the group that got captured in that scene with the clones killing the jedi woman. so possibility that she blames OB1 for not saving her and as a result spoilers spoilers spoilers at the end.
That will be it.

She hates Obi-wan because he tried Anakin who killed all her friends, she knows that Anakin = Vader because she was specifically looking into where Anakin went for her revenge. She gives no shits about obeying orders because she also hates The Empire, but all this hate HAS turned her to the Dark Side so she's fine with murdering people.

Oh the spinny dual-blades? It looks bad enough in animation, can't imagine how bad it will look live action.

I thought it seemed obvious one of the younglings shown at the beginning was third sister. Like, super obvious. Also my head canon is that third sister is actually Maul, or an apprentice of Maul, and so the obsession with Kenobi makes a lot more sense. Don't think the writers are clever enough to pull that one off within the bounds of existing events/lore though.

Also this show won't be about Kenobi, it'll be able ole third sister getting Starkiller'd by Vader and coming to Kenobi for help to take him down. She'll die, Kenobi runs off again, and nothing of value will actually happen. Maybe some bad ass Vader crushing shit scenes but that's about it.

Yeah, I loved the show but the inquisitors never really were great villains imo, Darth Maul and Ren had so much potential to be that Villains close to Vader and they ruined them both in the first movies.

Honestly he should know who Kenobi is but this is also 10 years later and Kenobi looks like a hobo. Was there a lifespan of the order 66 control? Never really thought about that aspect of it. Like are clones still compelled to kill/report any Jedi they come across or do they all feel like absolute shit bags now? I know in Bad Batch the clones were still gung ho about their duty for the most part but some were already starting to waiver and that was set weeks/months after order 66 initially happened. That could be a really interesting angle to play with but don't know if this show would have room for it. Will probably be explored in Ahsoka's show.

I just watched a few minutes of RoTS, and it turns out my memory isn't total shit.

When Obi Wan watches the security footage, Palps calls him Lord Vader, and Yoda refers to him as Darth Vader a few seconds later.

So either Obi Wan is a complete moron (either for not making the connection or for completely shutting off all outside information for...no reason at all), or the Emperor kept Vader in seclusion for ten years.

Or it's all just bad writing.
Obi Wan isnt the moron, they think you are the moron and are too stupid to catch their shitty continuity errors.
