So... how did this deviate from the original? Just put it in a spoiler tag. Though I would assume that most of us have seen the original by now.

There needs to be a "Hollywood gonna Hollywood" type meme for when this type of garbage is announced and EVERYONE knows it's going to bomb hard. See Robocop and TMNT.
