Meta loves hiring ex spooks, but that company is kind 9f weird. I would jump at a job at Morgan Stanley without knowing your other interests because no matter how much that company fucks up the government has made it pretty clear they will bail them out LOL. On a more serious note it might help if we knew what specific career roles you're looking for. And you should also consider an established consulting company. Those places love to hire people who already have their clearances ahead of time.

Although it's not specifically on your list, I know someone who works for Alphabet and probably wouldn't have any issues helping.

I also have an online contact who works at Meta, although he tends to be very private and may not want to divulge contact info.

I don't mean this as any kind of argument or mockery.

In my field, "a good word" from a guy who knows me from an anonymous video game forum wouldnt count for any more than "a good word" from the homeless guy in the tent under the bridge.

Is it really so different in the fields youre looking at? That kind of blows my mind. Or is it all some joke I don't get? That would seem more likely I guess.

Are you being a dumbass? It is implied here that someone can use the internal referral system, official or unofficial, to submit his resume. This bypasses the immediate filters as most companies have a policy to actually call anyone referred by an internal FTE.

I've done it for several on here before. Haven't netted them a job but it did get them a call.

I still can't tell if you're being serious. Sometimes there are inside jokes around here that I miss.


I didn't realize you could submit resumes with just an anonymous forum name. My CV doesn't say Aldarion, fwiw

My best friend works for RTX / Raytheon (Actually got moved from Raytheon to another of their companies recently, but still RTX).

The "good word" is coming from someone the employer already knows. Presumably, an employee in good standing and with a good reputation. He just has to say "hey, I have a friend who's looking for something, here's his resume."

Raytheon should not be hard to get a job if your in their comp engineering sector and many others as well- look at their smaller branches in "non prime" locations. I have 2 friends from school, they both worked publix and ran the ranks (one Customer service / admin the other food/area departmental) both got to lower-mid management, then they decided to actually use their computer engineering degrees they had and now both work for Raytheon - so resume wise both were non-related fields at Publix - into Raytheon.. Talking with them they seem like they just need people to be generally coherent and show up for work.
