Overwatch Trademark Suspended By USPTO, Blizzard Contending With Smartphone App

So apparently the name Overwatch is already in use by another (admittedly much smaller) company. Will ActiBlizzard buy them out or take the effort to rebrand their new IP before people get too used to the name?

Overwatch: hands-on with Blizzards new shooter - PC Gamer

There's nothing really new in this article and I'm not sure why it's popping up today, but I couldn't help but think about Heroes of the Storm, just in shooter form. Are there ults in any shooters now (I haven't really touched the genre in ages)? Reaper and Valla even have the same ult.

edit: Blizzard just posted a bunch of photos on Overwatch to their main Facebook page with a link to beta opt in. Why are they hyping this up now? Beta soon?

Beta opt-in has been available since they revealed it at blizzcon. Though it does say beta 2015 in the article.

Eh who cares about the char design. I'd be more worried about the skillset which looks boring and bland as shit. A lot of their other heroes have pretty cool mechanics, she has like the most basic shit. Oh and one of these basic shit is an aoe disable, in a FPS. This is going to be really fun I can tell already.
