How was it nerfed? My max crit with just idol (no rain), was 850. Normal crit (no rain, no idol) was 550. Normal rain crit was 690 (no idol).
(neither of those is with a night ring or wyvern heart)

I hit around 350 normally on normal blue mobs/chevrons. But i have 42 wisdom.

That thing is insanely powerful.

If theyre going to keep it there in Mad Run, they need to redesign the cost of using it, though. As that just looks unhealthy to keep in the game. Needs diminishing returns on its range of levels used - which is the most straight forward way. Or they need the DOT to instead be an instant chunk of your HP like casting on a Wizard w/o elements. The buff being short duration. Or outright changing it to a one spell cast buff for a chunk of HP related to how much mana you use. (ex. A 40 mana spell will cost you 80hp etc.)

Or to be simple about it - as it currently sits, why would you ever use a different idol thats less than 25% +dmg for all your spells? There is no upgrade path there except for one thats more powerful and its already at super hero strength, so wtf.

Well Said, Well Said Master Monk and here merely 12 years later I'd add with Player Wipes Incoming, No Bard (ex-guildee) and much most importantly (from Monk forums) a broken FD . Not a chance of interest until those things are fixed : I give them 180 Days or something.

I tried to sort all of them by negative and 100+ and all Im really seeing with roughly the same playtime is "eatcatpoop"s review. Which I dont know where the Blizzard dev part is coming from, but using that person as reference - I had no idea how MANY people on the Blackmoon server group were talking about GM corruption. Holy shit, its like every other review and some of these people have 1000+ hours played, lol. I mean seriously, if 1 in 3 negative reviews is talking about the GM's showing favoritism and harassment on a specific server group - I'd probably look into it a bit more. But at this point, I dont think Joppa gives af. Probably getting tired of working on this "project" in the grand scheme.

Bard they want to do something like Octavia from Warframe. Which I honestly think is fucking overkill for the class and its going to be ridiculously hard to balance. So it'll always be the class thats either OP as fuck or the exact opposite.

They know exactly whats wrong with Feign Death. The excuse has changed a bit since I first started playing till now, though. So I really think its more along the lines of them having some kind of inner turmoil about how it will break certain encounters that they have planned or implemented.

Which really, as I sat there and typed it out - I really believe, wholeheartedly, that they could rip out all the "herp derp, if we implement it this way it will be super niche, cool and unique!" .... And just put the classes/abilities in that harken back to EverQuest. Rip out all that extra code for aggroing and deaggroing each individual NPC and put a single roll check /random in there for feign death. You either wipe aggro or you dont. Stop making it harder than it needs to be. Same with Bard. Stop trying to reinvent the fucking wheel and just implement the class like Ashes of Creation did. Each "song" which is just a fucking ability, has an area of effect and lasts a certain amount of time. For fucks sake, people ended up macroing twisting and shit like that anyways. Just stop being difficult about this shit. "Keep It Simple, Stupid"
