Good Lord, I didn't even realize this was a thing. How on Earth do they carry whatever insurance required to create such an amazing experience?
I mean all we had was just McDonald's playgrounds and ball pits at Chuck e cheese. Probably the most dangerous thing was all metal playgrounds out at a public park and jumping off the swing set.

I like that in a couple of the shots you can see the momentum of the entire apparatus come to a slowdown as it transfers the kinetic energy to the head of a 4 year old. The fact these things still exist (potentially) is marvelous.

Oh, and related:

They exist, my kids school does a block party yearly and they have various versions of these things.

Kids flock to em like moths to light- you cant say little kids dont seek out danger and adventure. It’s funny bc its like the one thing modern nerf it all parents seem to be like “okay with me”

picked this game up again over the past few weeks. It just doesn’t have legs to run. I’m honestly concerned it could end up being vaporware at this point.

Its 100% going to be like Crowfall. "Release" to recoup money lost and after awhile it will shutdown.

Maybe. I got to sit in on a meeting with Joppa recently. There’s some exciting stuff in the talks but a lot of it seems like a stretch on their current timeline.

Still going strong on the game. I actually really enjoy it. Play it fairly casually, 3 nights a week for 4-5 hours per session. Have a static group which makes it fun. Still gives me early EQ1 vibes. Camping a lot of named, rare drops are extremely rare, but worth it if/when you get them. It's all about the people you play with though for sure. I wouldn't play this game without a full group of friends. And I wouldn't put in a lot of hours due to lack of content and subsequent repetition. The game is good though. Most of the classes are fun. The updates are slow, but usually very good when they happen. It's just a long and slow development process which almost necessitates a casual approach to the game right now.
