MnM definitely has a greater chance of actually making it to release. Neither will be successful. We get a bible from the Monsters and Memories team every month, and we get like six paragraphs from the Pantheon team maybe every month. It tells you which game is going to be more successful just from that.

I really enjoyed playing my Wizard in the leveling portion I did do with him. They seem to be shoring up the shortcomings that I seen with him in that playstyle. But I really wanted a slower pace style on the wizard to prevail. Big HUGE spells, where you may cast one spell on the average fight for 1/3 of the mobs HP and then go back to medding for sustain. Where if shit hit the fan, you could unload your entire mana bar on AOE's and big spells and melt away 2 or 3 mobs quickly. Where you have a line of spells for each particular elemental resistance. Where your gear priority is a bigger mana pool first, and spell damage second. etc.
Im more inclined to believe that both of these games will just be pet projects. I do agree that the MNM team does seem to run a tighter ship though. But the 2k+ per test seems about right when its such short periods to play.I bet MnM brings a good crowd, had like 2k+ in the last test I believe.
Unless MNM pulls their head out of their ass then unfortunately yes we know the answer to this, it's Pantheon. We get a bible from the Monsters and Memories team every month, and we get like six paragraphs from the Pantheon team maybe every month. Pantheon sold 100k boxes already, MNM will be lucky to see 10% of those numbers bootlegging it out of their garage. Enjoy the Ember's adrift box sales/player counts/sub figures. triple fucking digits boys.
And all 50 of you left after they start charging a sub for a fucking beta will get to see it through to completion.I like Pantheon, but MnM is the better game.

Doesn't matter how good your game is, if you won't launch it on steam then nobody will ever hear about it, and the "niche MMO" community at large has been burned by so many failed kickstarters turned vaporware or bait and switch that, if you knowingly refuse to release on steam, thats a 500 foot tall red flag that 90% of us aren't going to touch.

Fuck, wrap it up guys, nirgon just praised m&m. That shit is now destined to death spiral. Just need Mr Sox to jump in next on it

Did you use Grok, Claude or ChatGPT?

What's the release timeline looking likeTelling people they're stupid for thinking Pantheon isn't going to release doesn't top any list of concerns

I am never gonna not laugh when he does the STEVE stuff
and another thing, ya know, I'm not going to have nearly the time I used to for this or to ever be competitive in WH40k cuz of dadquest etc now, yet I don't feel the urge to tell them to water down those experiences for those that do
Strange huh
