I think since the layoffs they should look to sell the project (probably some efforts already made) or if they are going to shut down shop, turn over the game to emulator development so someone can take a whack at making a good amount of content for it. Although that won't solve the ambitious Mastery alternate advancement system, that's going to be a little bit harder for just any joe to complete the work on.

That being said I'm not sure what my M&M playtime is/was (in alpha to beta), likely nowhere near the 600h I got out of Pantheon. I'd prefer to play M&M in Pantheon.

Would anyone even buy pantheon? With how adhd the devs were, how many years of little outcome, and constant redesigning, I cant even begin to imagine what a complete clusterfuck behind the hood this must be

I see no reason to buy it. I don't know where their game even fits in the grand scheme of MMO's. Its somewhere probably between MnM and WoW so I don't know what would make anyone play it. WoW Forever, ELQ, and MnM pretty well consumes any and all potential players I feel. Maybe I's wrong and I don't know their target audience but I think with what you would pay, you might as well invest into your own venture if I'm a company. Maybe folks who have played it would have more insight and maybe you could convert it to something better but I personally don't see it.

Bankrupt implies there was enough organization to, you know, declare bankruptcy. Pantstheon is now just one guy updating a Changelog.

Camelot Unchained is still in development. Haven't kept up with it lately, but discord is active and they keep updating the build. Pantheon hasn't announced bankruptcy yet, might be inevitable, but they are plugging along for now.

So fake news. No they are not all bankrupt. That may happen but for now, it's just bs.
