I don't understand the hype for that shield or grenade launchder. The former looks like move and kill with clunk and the latter has a forced pendulum mechanic.

I didnt state shit. The bottom line is youre fucking wrong. The average POE player does not complete jack and shit. The average POE1 player does not even finish campaign.

There is a massive difference between completing a single t15/t16 and completing the entire atlas. I am not the one wrong here.

There are 100+ maps in the atlas and 130+ points on the tree. Even I almost never complete the atlas despite farming multiple hundreds of divs for builds and sometimes even mirror tier builds.

PoE2 has less completions for everything than PoE1 on a percentage basis. And your numbers are actually showing that. up to 3% of people completing the entire atlas in PoE1 vs 1% completing 1 T16 in PoE2? That's a massive difference if the numbers you are posting are correct.

How are people not completing a T16 map? It's not hard. With the league being 6 months it's wild to me. Unless they just moved on.

Talking to some ARPG fans at a party a couple weeks ago I found out like 50% of them never used a build guide and stopped the game shortly after campaign every season. That was wild to me.

I got the game like in 0.2 or something, played for 10mins then got distracted by something else, last league I decided I wanted to check out the campaign so I did, once I reached maps I stopped playing cause figured there's no reason to bother when they were going to rework the whole thing the patch after.

I do wonder all those people that don’t get thru the campaign or stop after the campaign, how much total spend are they putting into the game. I’d hypothesize that ggg nets very little money from those folks, despite making up the vast percentage of their playerbase

Last league I did a single T1 waystone and stopped. I didn't complete the campaign the league prior so it was nice seeing it through. They didn't get any money out of me. I should have gifted two subs though for that genie vendor MTX though. I don't like Faustus.

The more streamlined they can make the campaign the better. Hell it should essentially be a hallway that introduces you to various mob types and bosses and presents a story. A training ground for all the skills. A blurb about the story. Some cool set pieces etc etc

Having to remember what quests give what rewards (although tbf poe2 does indicate on the world map) or getting lost in some of the layouts isn't a great experience. Poe isn't a game about exploration, at least not in terms of moving around on the map. Making layouts unnecessarily complex (fuck you water ways) sucks.

For anyone who didn't watch the video, they added things that lead you to zones like sign posts, blood trails, foot prints, etc. In the area with the explores, they even reveal the entrance out right on the mini map.

Is the launcher a weapon or skill?
