Yes but there are a couple of nodes that are actively bad. For example, the 100% increased chance of Vruun in breach - sounds nice, but a properly specced atlas strat would get you up to 10 extra rares in his place instead, which is better, Vruun or 10 rares?

There's a couple other ones like that as well, and especially ones that ARE actually good, but might make the content harder than you can handle and now it's too brutal to even do.

Alloys go into expedition tab if you have one. I think the expedition tab is new? IDK, I bought a few at 0.5 launch and that might have been one of them.

So I played this for about seven hours and just kinda quit. Is it any good now?
Chances are it has improved a ton since you last played it, still unsure on the endgame since I am only on T2 / T3 maps, though.

Act 1 and 2 were pretty terrible to play for me but if you find an uber weapon from the guild stash and get through that part you would probably enjoy some time with it.

I think it is going to be a great game at some point.....just don't think it's there yet.

They specifically mentionned changing this one to Vruun+rares, probably end of the week/early next week, but yeah some nodes are annoying especially without being able to respec them.

A lot better but first 5 hours are still a chore. Theres enough twink gear in guild stash though to make it much more tolerable. End game is a ton better, not quite POE, but better by far than it was. Will probably take this toon to the limit because mapping is quite fun on MA.

Between other games and a 4 year old, I'm 46 just into act 4 lol. Monk has felt like easymode mostly, but act 3 is a slog to get through. Campaign takes me so much longer here than in PoE1.

I think this is what im going to turn my warrior into. New Brutus molten shower tech. Just jump around and sprinkle death everywhere.

Speccing into fully juiced rogue exiles during early maps might be something that some people might want to unspec out of when they get to red maps if they cant handle them.

Glad to see that the random stuff you get in the campaign is still super valuable. Powered by Verisium lvl 8 from buried halls in a2, 2-4 divs, dunno where the price fixing ends on it. Just gotta slog through the entire campaign to actually sell it.

Wish they'd let you use the vendor for sales early so you could actually sell the good levelling items you find while you're levelling...

Level 82 and yea, Plants are kinda boring to play. You never die but it's not much dopamine using skills.

Anyone got a suggestion for a companion build?

The Disciple companion stuff is insane. It's like playing piano though so not for everyone.

Just got to maps, tired of trying to make an Arc build feel good. Might roll a merc to try gas nade build, then again the campaign...

The spirit walker twister build just got super fucking easier to play with the Taming ring, no need for first tipped arrows and the ring gives more damage than a headhunter. Also if you have twister and whirl mtx it is super wispy looking and I’m really enjoying it.

Meh, didnt like that build. I started with it and zoomed through campaign to like tier 6 maps or whatever, but I found it too squishy without a HUGE investment into ES, es nodes and ES recovery as well. You were basically at the mercy of killing shit before it killed you. I reached a point where I had to make that switch and didnt have enough currency and wasnt finding shit to help. I guess that hectic style is just not for me. Also I found it great on maps that had corridors and walls and shit so they would bounce off things, but when you had an open field map it just felt bad. You also need that support to fully buff your ascendancy thing where you dodge and get the dmg bonus from your feathers but now you can do it 3x instead of 1. By the time I got there the support was like 10divs, lol.

I think at the least they should allow the permanent unlocks and skill books to be a once-per-league thing. Campaign would still suck in the early acts, but would go a lot quicker on alts if you had those extra points to spend in the beginning. (Or even after the Hillock dude in the first zone).

Does anyone actually try to use all the different commands? I sure as hell don't touch anything but the djinns and ele weakness/frost bomb. Powered zealots seem to do decent damage but all the skeletons are just fodder for At Your Command / Muster.

Definitely one of the better "minion" builds that I've played though.
