The mana drain, quick footed (super speed bug like the one in the reel above but faster), with teleport, life drain? periodic invulnerability? or w/e the fk that one is? I spent literally 5 or 10 minutes soloing it. All for shit ass rewards. The combination of affixes on shit is absolutely broken at times and just not worth it. The next time Im just going to clear the map and just die so I can move on to another map.
My favorite is mana drain and proximal tangibility. Like what the actual fuck am I gonna do against that? Hope I one shot it or kite it into something else so I can get mana on death.

I realize I do nothing but complain in this thread, but do the boss fights get better? I'm on Tavakai, and have died 7 times now after repeating 3 stupid phases each time, and about to throw the towel in. The entire screen is just one giant poorly telegraphed AE. Who designs shit in 2026 to make you re-fight boss phases over and over?
The rest of the campaign is pretty easy after you kill that fuckstick, it's worth getting passed him.

It's not the failure that annoys me so much, it's having to listen to 3 phases of stupid Tribal dialogue tropes. Why can't I Ice Comet him while he's dialoguing? lol

I finally got him after getting my cold resist rings out of the stash. And like TLOU2 I don't even get to actually kill him /sigh ;)

so of course those are the two that feel the least lucrative when you do them.
Eh, maybe Breach doesn't have some of the "WOAH BIG DIVS!!" drops of Mageblood/HH or Aldur's Legacy, but I've been making extremely steady currency off of Absent amulets - 5 div here, 30 div there. It's very consistent.

Ammies, rings, belts....They all sell for me if I get some goodies to drop from the tree. Plus the content is free for the most part. That expedition shit can get rippy real quick.

To be honest, I kind of forgot the tree existed. I don't even know how much wombjuice I have at this point. I think I stopped messing with it because it wasn't making sense how the tree nodes were unlocking (the tree tree, not the atlas tree) and then yeah... even though I'm constantly tossing wombgifts in the stash I never got around to opening any.

For the retarded abyss mechanic, is omen of the liege the only "you fucked up... again" prize, or are putrefaction and dextral/sinistral necromancy in the turd pool too?

Tree nodes unlock by using the respective wombgift of each branch. You can only store up to 100k hiveblood as well.

The nodes unlock as I use the gifts, but I'm not seeing where I get the points to actually use them. I haven't played since breach league so the core version of it is all new to me.

You just have to do more and more breaches. Thats how you get the points.

You get tree points the same way, but you only get so many. I just don't know if its per X womgifts or per X hiveblood spent. I think each branch caps at 15 points except for the one you get bonus points for on the atlas tree.

Nahh, I came back after doing a whole bunch of breaches and had tons of points to spend in each one of the branches. It had nothing to do with womgifts since I didnt deposit any at all. Maybe its hiveblood collected? But def had to do with doing more breaches.

Either way they have to clean that up because people should fucking know.

The points are from doing Breaches but the nodes open up by using Wombgifts. I don't craft so I've been using the currency ones (copied a YouTube guide on which nodes to take) and been selling the rest. The rest sell for more than I was making selling the items that dropped.

Liege is the only drop that tells you that you fucked up. The others are just the budget drops.

I did a bunch of ritual yesterday and it was printing divines for me. Every round of heads was 50ish divines not counting tablets and things I sold.

No, liege is the only booby prize. The other three are in the same pool as Omens of Light and Echoes. So if you get any of those you did it right.

Probably put 500-600 divs into my bow craft attempt and didn't get shit, couple almost settles but then failed the 50/50s towards getting last couple mods. D4 season starts today and i'm pretty much done with league too, so did my traditional vaaling. Bricked a couple cheap items, 3rd socket on a pretty decent chest, fire res enchant on my headhunter and got 20% crit damage bonus on this ring.

Might just be new to me but I didn't see it posted here yet. For the Moor of Fallen Skies map, you can use a unique tablet, Visions of Paradise, to run the map twice. You might have to place the tablet in while a different map is selected on the atlas but when you move back to Moor, it'll still be there and works even if you see the map doesn't support tablets message.

edit: and the atlas passive for an 8% chance of tablets not being consumed can proc as well. Had this happen earlier and didn't realize why at first. The tablets pay for themselves as they are only 5 div now but its a nice bonus

Well, I got bored with the 400 games in my Steam Library and needed a break from War Thunder, so I bit the bullet and installed and played PoE2 for the first time since 0.1.

And you know what? Not bad, GGG, not bad. The campaign is still a slog, mostly because I had to full clear everything to make sure I got all the benefits while leveling, but the end game has significantly improved, even if the map layouts have not.

I am playing a spin-to-win Martial Artist, because I only play the meta-ist of builds, and it has been pretty fun so far. Up to playing T8 maps with little challenge as I climb the tiers (not yet level 80).

My number one complaint right now is that there is actually TOO MUCH to do at the beginning of end-game. So many quest lines to follow, so many directions in which to travel. I am now focusing on getting as many early atlas passives (before unlocks) as possible to make the other quest-line journeys more rewarding.

My other complaint is that dying in a map is still too punishing, especially after GGG just introduced a further 50% exp nerf to re-doing a generic map if you fail the original. That's a little too much friction, GGG. I haven't actually failed a map yet, but I HAVE died to a map boss, and losing all the loot and mechanics left on the way (especially if rushing with Delirium) feels really bad, man.

Make sure you are using skill refutation along with a few of your pieces having some ward, like 100 or more will do. Add in a prolonged duration II support on it and thats about it. It gives you like 7~10 seconds of invulnerability and when the boss tries to hit you, you will parry and get a 50% dmg boost, thats multiplicative. And you dont even need a buckler for the parry, its great! I usually pop it when boss is down about 1/4 or 1/3 and the rest of his health bar just goes down in a matter of a few seconds.

Pretty much use this on all my classes on the boss fights or when shit gets crazy in super juiced shit like expedition or such. CD is like 10 seconds and you have to wait until your ward refreshes. But its a nice oh shit button that has saved me more than once.

Pretty good...

I'll hold onto that for you when D4 starts
