Are you sure you didn't accidentally run a map that corrupted to T14? Irradiated + cleansed/coalesced can still make it hit L80.Just fired up the game after vacation. What the hell happened in the last patch?
I bounced off the game at the Bodach. My build could not do it. Or, more accurately, my build combined with the way I play, meaning I refuse to dodge around for 15 minutes trying to avoid one shots and doing tiny bits of damage at a time. I had even recently upgraded all my gear before the fight, and I was still easily killed by a fist slam or that stupid beam.I'm really enjoying the fact that the there's still lots of questing at end game. Mind you this is the first time I've played the game, but I keep reaching some sort of pinnacle boss for a quest line for the first time and it's just a lot of fun. Did the Bodach last night, and that was a blast. Pretty epic feeling fight.
I hope they kind of expand those mechanic quest lines even more with the release of the game or additional seasons or something.
Did work my way down to King's March earlier and gonna give some expeditions a whirl.
I can see that where all of it can be a little overwhelming, and it's been that way a bit with me, but at least there's something to keep working towards.
Do you guys full clear maps or rush objectives and then move on to the next map?
That fight definitely took me maybe 10 times or so to beat. That was on my soul brothers monk. I was just getting hung up on the third phase once I understood what was happening in the first two phases.I bounced off the game at the Bodach. My build could not do it. Clearly I am better at PoE1 than 2. My gripes are not knowing how to fix:
(1) I always feel like I am running in molasses in PoE2. Even with 30% run speed, I feel like I have the momentum of a mountain in quicksand. Chill and slow are BRUTAL, and outside being stunned are 100% the cause of my deaths to regular content.
(2) I struggled with power progression on my build. PoE1 is the same, there are struggle-bus plateaus in every build, but in PoE2 I haven't been able to break through like I do in PoE1. Obviously need to play more, but it is frustrating at present.
(3) Build defense/survivability - chasing life in PoE1 for so long, it is weird playing red maps with 2,400 hps.
(4) I would say crafting, but I don't craft in PoE1 either - I think I am actually better in PoE2
Do you guys full clear maps or rush objectives and then move on to the next map? Because I do the former and drilling through content takes forever. I think I am doing it wrong.
I also do dumb stuff like buying a higher phys dps quarterstaff and not understanding how it had less tool tip damage than my former weapon, before realizing the new staff had implicit 0% crit and the former staff had 15%.

No worries man. I appreciate it. I'm not in the guild because I'm playing with some other buddies in our famous guild Sissy Boy Slap Party, but add _Zardoz_ as a friend.Dr.Retarded just wanted to let you know I'm currently at 87% to 98 and have around 300 divs. Also have like 5 Jade Isles to test my luck x2 between tonight and tomorrow.
Goal is to be dome by Monday but certainly this week no matter what, just letting you know I didn't forget about ya.
What are you playing?Yeah, I am killing T15 easy but occasionally die, espeically if there is some form of slow during the boss fight. For the Rites leading up to Bodach, the stacking bosses didn't bother me until a chill zone on the floor got in the way - although I ended up running them at T14 because I am still levelling (89). I have no 20 skills, just 19s.
My DPS seems ok, it's more survivability.
Edit - And playing through the campaign in PoE1 right now, the experience is a billion times better than PoE2 in my opinion (I know others differ).
The campaign in both games seems like a chore. They have some odd hard-on for the roleplaying aspect or whatever. Like it-s 5-8 hours in PoE2 per season out of hundreds of hours so it's not the end of the world but fucking why? Have tier zero maps that scale with your level until level 64 or something. Diablo 3 made some mistakes but I felt the league start experience was so much better than PoE 1 or 2. D4 is also fine, like it takes 2 hours of grinding events to get there but it feels like you are constantly gaining power and moving forward.Edit - And playing through the campaign in PoE1 right now, the experience is a billion times better than PoE2 in my opinion (I know others differ).
I honestly love the fact that there seems to be a storyline past the mendeal you're doing coming out of the gate. The campaign in both games seems like a chore. I think one of the worst parts of league starts is how slow you feel. You have no movement speed on anything and levels come like once per zone (or less if you speed run the zones).

I know I've said it before but I'm excited to see where the story is going. It might be stupid or simple to most people but to me it's a lot of fun.
Probably one of the reasons I like Starfield as much as I do...![]()

Phys Whirling Assault MonkWhat are you playing?
