Sure that could work, but its alot of mana to miss out on. Asenath + cloak of defiance is like 230 base and thats almost 1k actual mana and +14% ish dps in my current gear if i somehow got that much base mana.
Been trying to link cloak of defiance but im 800 fusings in and no luck so far. Been thinkin ill try it out with chain once id got that fixed but so far it's been eluding me. My current chest is corrupted so thats the reason i haven't wanted to do it so far.

Good changes, will help the league survive. But if people think this shit is bad they don't remember Abyss start. Fucking invincible one shot mobs every other abyss. All sorts of on kill explosions. Was very similar to this league. Most of these leagues had similar starts and actually this is one of the faster nerfs to the over-tuned content.

They had insane Regen in abyss, only reason I remember is my occultist had no issues because if the no Regen aura they have.

This was my starter. Pretty pleased with myself. Only took a year to understand the game well enough to repurpose something I saw last league, then go from nothing to Uber Lab pretty easily. Not faceroll good like the golem build Ny has, but I'm pleased. Sharing it, regardless of how uninterested everyone is. Lol

Here's a level 80 character with nearly 3M "Standard Boss" dps in almost all 5-10c gear, 5L with chain support. I think I had to cheat on the boots to cover resists. I might have to cheat a bit more to cover dexterity. My chief concern is the defense kinda suck, dodge/evasion wise. Mana regen might be a bit low too.
I looked at your character. I think going crit would work for you. Also, I haven't found cluster jewels that great for this build. Dropping those passive plus Divine Judgement and Insightfulness should get you the points you need for it. Getting Blade Blast in a trigger setup is an easy ~8% increase too.

Ya i thought so aswell. For what its worth it works fine enough imo. If you hold down brand recall you'll never get the extra charge anyway.
Thanks for the food for thought pob. If you're crit then thats pretty much it, i had something pretty similar before league but was too hard to guage whitout knowing archmage specifics. With a few more points Id want to go doom cast and the cursed concoction wheel after and consider anointing something other than mind drinker because you get the 2% on kill from cursed concoction wheel..I'll disagree somewhat though and claim that cluster jewels have to be worth it somehow. Especially if you can get the large one rolled with 3 notables and 2 jewels it's the best.
Missed that bladeblast had unnerved so thats just an instant change i can make.

So can anyone explain this to me? I have been gone a few leagues so pretty much a newb.. Anyway I was watching Alkizer stream last night and he opened up his inventory and I noticed he has no primary weapon, just a shield. How the fuck is he doing cyclone with no weapon? am I missing something here?

He is using Facebreaker gloves which greatly increase your unarmed damage(if you don't have a weapon equipped you can still punch stuff).

It seems like it's random what placement the notables on cluster jewels get and i dont think theres a way to change the positioning, tried divine but didnt do anything. I got what i thought was a good one but it wasnt because of the position. On pob for example they always show the prefix notables at the base of the cluster, not always true.

Sure, but what notables? I couldn't find any that gave damage increases comparable to nodes(~3% per point) on the tree. I liked the idea behind the blind one, but the percentage isn't high enough to be reliable.

Was thinking about starting. Trade macro is totally dead now just price lookup? I used to show the colors on sockets since I'm colorblind.
Anyway I haven't followed th league was sick and such. What is working for a build type this league. I need something super easy, no need to push the end game in the least. My brain is still lagging behind some.
