3 exalts dropped from archnemesis altar. Loot filter didn't go off. Not sure what that was about. Had volume up. Picked them up and dropped them and nothing. Logged out and back in and it was fixed. So I'm going on the theory that I had 100+ ex drop and didn't know it while it was screwed up.

Having completed their conquest of the graphics engine, consisting of a classic scorched earth policy, they've moved on to fucking the sound engine. I've noticed lots of times where certain categories of sounds just stop playing. Or frequent popping during high combat time. Why play a shatter/pop build if you can't hear the entire screen die at once?
I wonder if Ashes and boot implicit(~30% cdr for travel skills) will make using Dash worthwhile again. Leap Slam feels so sluggish until you get an action speed shrine. Shield Charge fucking blows. Whirling Blades is actually decent if you augment it with Flame Dash for crossing gaps, but it's basically an attack build movement skill due to weapon restriction. Flame Dash is good for doding but the cooldown is too long for moving around the map between packs.
Actually forgot about Lightning Warp until just typing this up. I wonder if Ashes does the same for it.

This sounded interesting to me so i made one myself for challenge completions because it's really hard to get back to a build after a break.I don't know if anyone in guild has the pockets and playtime for that belt. The few that might would likely go with a HH anyway.
Wanted to share a build I've been enjoying the past few weeks. I keep coming back to this one while rolling a couple characters just to try out. It's aura stacking(surprise!). It's not a tank like the classic aura stacker above, but it's no slouch defensively. Just don't stand in shit that you shouldn't be.
It more than makes up for that in dps and relative cheapness. I wouldn't recommend starting this until you have 5-10ex, but no singular item except a 6L Doryani's Prototype should cost more than 10s of chaos. And you can even run a 5L for a while, this build has dps to spare.
In addition to aura stacking, it abuses the global increased damage on replica dreamfeather. Remember when they had to make stat stacking weapons add damage to that specific weapon? No idea why they repeated that here and haven't fixed it. Both weapons add 2k+ increased damage. The idea is to drop ancestor totems, hit your flask macro, which should include blood rage and enduring cry to generate frenzy and brutality charges, and kill the boss before flasks expire or your totems die. 45M dps should be enough to burn down any target, maybe two if you're doing an invitation.
And I don't think I'm doing any PoB warrior shenanigans, though I'm certainly welcome to feedback. The base dps is high enough that I think expecting 45M burst dps is realistic. Those silly youtube highlights that burn down bosses before they do anything? Easily done here.
Don't do Mineral Pools, map(sucks) or boss(beam kills you). Be very cautious of Baran squares. Shaper beam will kill you instantly. Usual Doryani's Prototype weaknesses. I'd like to solve chills and curses but whatever. You can VMS through most large hits you see coming. I haven't found shocks, ignites, or poisons worth solving.

Isn't a mapper but bosses and like simulacrum wave 30 are pretty sweet even though i can't guarantee deathless.
This was with behead support which is pretty crap as a dmg support especially against monsters with energy shield too.

You decided on the 3.16 version from that thread. I've preferred going the right side of the tree for Precise Technique as it's more reliable than EO.
I agree that it's not a mapper, but it's a bit frustrating because it's really close to being a mapper. If the build could fit some sort of pop, like whenever I get gloom shrines, it feels really smooth. You know, aside from leap slam...

Trying to find a spell to trigger just for the life gain on hit. Tried ball lightning first but maybe a crappy curse like punishment would be better.
Because honestly i'm having a hard time seing any of these spells on screen with all the smite spam and i can't really say i meaningfully "feel" the life gain so it's hard to evaluate.
It's pretty flexible i suppose.

Probably one of the best builds for that belt, at least from a dps perspective. Almost 40% more dps from stibnite and basalt each, jade not that far behind. Is there another build that gets that much from its flask slots?

Honestly, I find the grace/iron reflexes/replica dream feather aspect much more compelling than the aforementioned. After most dps flasks got gutted(when's the last time you even considered lion's roar?), it's really nice to hit that flask macro and actually feel the dps increase.
Smite and aura stacking...meh, kinda boring? Powerful, but locks your build down a ton. I like what they did with reservation efficiency but the current situation doesn't feel that great either. Almost every build I cook up has 4-5 auras and 1-2 reservation wheels.

Stricly for dps i would say (and constant movespeed is love), because i don't know how hard they have to hit to drop you from max phys reduction with even 600k armor, but it's probably harder than anything can actually hit for.
44% of smite builds on poeninja has Mageblood.
But i'm not sure what to think of some of the stuff i see there, i can only doubt people actually play most of the top rank builds there because i've seen so much number padding, like they have hundreds of million of dps but only with so much jank i wonder why anyone would bother, or they put in berserk for example with no rage generation, or they skip a good node (like inexorable, even though they might take the 2 small ones leading to it) just because it doesnt get calculated correctly on poeninja etc.

I watched a bit of it, and it looks interesting. Though I believe he has a quite a bit of expensive and specialized gear to make it work, but maybe that could be massaged to make it easier to get going? Dunno, you'll surely have a better take on it than me.

There are for sure a lot of weird poeninja warriors that just game the system to see 100m dps get posted or whatever. I don't know why but they definitely exist.
The other thing you have to keep in mind is the way the XP ladder works - it's a moving window/snapshot, so the later in the league it gets the more it concentrates to level 100, which in turn means the ladder is absolutely polluted by aurabots and mageblood/headhunter builds. If you really want to look at builds in a more realistic light you gotta use the week 2-3-4 or so snapshots to get any even close to accurate picture on how things are built under sane monetary circumstances.
