Welp - I reinstalled the client over the weekend. I guess that is the beginning concession of possibly playing 3.9.

As long as you guys let me know what the faceroll build of the league turns out to be, I should be good. As long as it isn't minions, because I just can't play minions in this game, hence my early exodus last league even with how faceroll it really was.

There were a multitude of non-minion builds that can faceroll. Due to power creep, it's probably easier to disqualify builds than tell you which ones are still good.

I’m pretty stoked for next league after planning to sit it out.

I’m planning necro zombie, probably a CoC of some sort, then whatever the meta is saying.

So they're just going to straight up end PoE 1 then, effectively? All the gear and characters and everything else that people have made over the years just "tough shit, but you can play with people who are playing PoE 2 tho!"?

did you read anything, watch anything, read any posts here, read anyposts on path of exile, or spend more than 12 seconds googling anything concerning this?

Not really, just stuff from this thread. I read all the posts here saying that PoE 1 is going to have all the new systems/gameplay stuff from PoE 2 which I am assuming includes the gem/socket changes. Is it going to be a separate client/install/everything and simply will have the option of picking PoE 1 story/classes and PoE 2 story/classes instead of just an 'expansion' on the original game?

Quite literally the first thing that appeared after the trailer at Exilecon is "One Game .. Two Campaigns". The above graphic explains it all. Everything you said told me you spent more time asking the question here than you could have found out yourself.

Noob shit for most of you but I killed shaper for the first time today. Died a few times to the ae purple shit since I had no idea that was coming. Dropped starforge and 6 linked it in 36 fuses.

If someone wants it, you can have it.

I want it to turn it into a divine after my first 3 leagues of dumping thousands of fusings to get my first 6L.

6L’d 3 items this league. I guess the game feels sorry for me now. The whole six linked skill thing being a chase was always my least favorite part of gameplay. I would rather the mods on rares be harder to craft and 6L be relatively easy.

I would hope so. If drop rates continue the way they are getting 1500 jewelers is WAY easier than 1500 fusings.

I wonder what's going to be the fate of Loyalty and Lucky Connections divination cards and all these 5-link and 6-link armor cards. I guess they just change to jeweller orbs for the former and the latter....?
