This league from start to finish has been a money printing machine. Some of the stuff people are doing now are just ludicrous. We've got a guy just fracturing/imprinting a 17 currency grand heist and selling 4% regal to ex trinkets for like 95 ex a pop. I don't "try" to make money, but I can just run a few grand heists or a few dozen contracts and easily clear 5-10ex in gear and currency for like 3 hours time. Just real goofy.
I'm on my 6 or 7th alt, playing around with all the currency I got and some of the rarer drops. I will say contracts feel weird. I have almost full up 66 of each (except mansion, of course) and I ran/vendored all my sub 80 ones. The drop rate seems maybe high, but if you actually run the contracts as you get them you stay welllll stocked with coins for revealing grand heist stuff.
I hope the December league is fun. This league as much as people complained and as many real bugs as they were was actually pretty cool. The dialogue between characters, the planning, the cross content synergy with EVERYTHING dropping coins and contracts and blueprints so you never felt like you were missing out on the expac. The Replicas were great with like 30-50% being bust or niche, but there's definitely a use for most of them.
I'm thinking of stacking jewelry drops trinkets and follower gear and just synth hunting for awesome necklaces/rings. Maybe for money, maybe for fun. We had a guy get a +1 max endurance charge ring like day 4 of league and sold it for 2-3ex. Get a +charge implicit, good curse, or Onslaught on hit and you're rolling in it. Also , I actually really like the Talisman change. I've seen some REALLY nice Talismans drop. Some of these would've been like 2-3 ex easily in previous leagues, but now with smart loot shitting them out it's just a matter of matching the implicit and annoint. But I've bought like +hp, +resistance, +zombie amulets with Gravepact or Ravenous Horde for like 10c. That's nuts.
Probably play another week or two at 65% playtime of the first few weeks and then call it unless they put in some super goofy patch update.
