This was what stood out for me in the episode.

The super-villains, the magic powers, the alternate dimension portal, etc, all that is fine. But the one thing that broke immersion for me was Ads outrunning a mob. Or why the fuck the mob would all jump in the pool instead of running around it.

Or the fact that ads could swim?

I thought this was an exaggerated racial stereotype, but I just looked it up and a 2017 USA Swimming study found that 70% of Black Americans could not swim. That’s way more than I was expecting.

This phrasing is weird. You would never say "compared to the blacks" or "compared to the reds," but saying "compared to whites" is fine.
