.

Maybe I'll have to rewatch, I didn't care for the episode. was thinking about food and hungry/grumpy

Edit - Also should have left the same intro

The original intro was more cheeky fun. This one I warmed up too because I think it's representing all the various parallel world versions of the characters.

So apparently DC decided they wanted to do multiverses and girl bosses too?

Cool.
Harcourt is his wife. She's always gonna be a girlboss but it's not that bad. Just got her ass beat in this episode for being a cunt.

After absolutely skullfucking half a dozen guys at least twice her size. But sure, it's okay because eventually the entire bar was able to overpower the 110 pound blonde.

I'm honestly a little more willing to "forgive" the whole girlboss trope in the context of a superhero setting. When the entire premise is already detached from any consistent sense of scale or realism, the occasional "girlboss moment" feels less egregious than it would in a setting that pretends to play by more grounded rules.

They seem to walk it off.

As Kirun said we can accept magic beings, butterfly aliens, and other dimensions, but a super trained woman beating some random dudes ass with a baton is where we draw the line.

Is the fat black lady on ozempic? She's still a biggun, but looks half her size from last season. Her and Lizzo must be doing a thing together.

Haven't watched any DC stuff with my son because it is all too dark and scary but this season looks like it has a lighter more comedic tone we may have to watch it tonight.

Yea the first episode has a big group activity that encourages burning calories. Def family friendly viewing.

I always wondered who those parents were that dragged their 7 year olds to the first Deadpool and were running them out during the sex-a-thon

I'm not sure how old your kids are but if they are not teens I'd probably skip the show. It has a lot of themes of redemption, self loathing, and finding your self worth. It's a fantastic show for adults, not so much children.

Plus the orgy scenes.

I can't imagine a teen watching this episode with their parents. Holy shit...

I'm so hopeful he didn't check this thread again before watching it and we get the reaction post.

Hrm i'm the exact opposite. Women should be getting their fucking skulls caved in in normal fights vs regular dudes, even fat ass out of shape dudes if he has enough weight on her, should absolutely crush women normally.

But whatever I can overlook it if its supposed to be some elite trained assassin/gymnast/whatever vs regular goons.

But Superhero slop where its "elite assassin" regular human somehow holding her own vs gods and super soldiers and shit is ridiculous. Captain fucking america super soldier serum and all should be pink fucking mist vs a single punch from the hulk yet somehow black widow can get tossed around like a rag doll with just some superficial cuts and zero bruises or broken bones. Her head would divorce her body if he so much as sneezed in her general direction.
