They should've stayed with Gunn on Peacemaker/SuicideSquad stuff, let him keep doing his style and rated R movies, while keeping the big Justice League content the same. They could've used the Flash movie to get rid of Ezra Miller, and stayed with the usual cast of Cavill, Gadot, Affleck, etc.
Eh, Cavill and Affleck were probably too tainted by batman v superman to continue regardless of plans. It's hard to get new fans to go back and watch from the beginning to know what's going on.

Would have liked to see Affleck's Bruce Wayne in a stand-alone Batman movie.

seems like he both wanted to do it, but thought he couldn't due to his drinking/mental state. rumored the story was going to be about batman's mental/physical decline while dealing with trouble at arkham while deathstroke worked to wear him down.

I wouldn't mind seeing a series with older versions of the heroes, like in Kingdom Come. Although I imagine it wouldn't appeal to younger viewers (but begs the question does the current stuff appeal to them? Seems not.)

Finally forced myself to finish Season 2 and then caught up with this thread. Pretty much felt the same way as everyone else, it was mostly boring and terrible and the "omg it's nazis!" shit was gay as fuck.

I didn't see anyone mention that the black heifer chick (whom I actually liked in Season 1) was wearing a "No Justice No Peace" shirt in the last episode. You can't get much more political than that, short of a "Kill Whitey" shirt maybe.

Vigilante, Eagly, smoking hot cyborg chick, Economos (sp?), and Ladies Man were the only brief highlights to the entire season. The main characters were all shit and I didn't care about any of it.

Final episode was a complete waste of time except for getting to finally hear Steel Panther in a major studio show. They perform that song, "Stop fucking my heart in the ass" that played for several minutes. If you've never listened to Steel Panther, start with the video for "Death to All but Metal" and thank me later after you emerge from the rabbit hole. They should have been playing at the end instead of that godawful faggot queer band Foxy whatever. Fuck they sucked. And Nelson has always been gay, even when they were popular. No self-respecting metal/rock fan liked Nelson. I guess if you enjoy being cucked watching your wife with other dudes, you could like Nelson.

Blue balls ending made this even worse than it already was.
