I'm wondering about the ending as well. What's the point of the deal if they're all getting arrested anyway? Wouldn't the idea be "Here's evidence of all the shit the Economic League did, in exchange for our immunity"?

Can't believe I sat on this show for as long as I did. This is a great show, and Cillian Murphy just absolutely kills it. Absolutely love the show. 5 more episodes in season 3 to go.

Just re-watched all three seasons on Netflix over the last three days. I think they have really balanced the rise of the Shelby Family into power with still giving them enemies that threaten them. Also, I feel like Season 3 could have stood on it's own. It could have been it's own story, but it's made better because we already know the characters and love them. I am having trouble seeing the Shelby's as the bad guys, though. I mean, they certainly are because the things they do to people (and to each other) are deplorable. But, they are our characters. We see the good and the bad and we cheer for them and want them to succeed but I feel like if we met them in real life they would be terrifying, and horrible and we wouldn't want anything to do with them.
Everyone I know recommends this show but I had to give up a few episodes into season 2. It is super fucking slow and got way chick flicky. I just couldn't hang with it.

That's kind of the writing. I think all of them start slow (season 3 sticks out for some reason). I think some of the female characters were thrown in to pull in female viewers. But, I'm not convinced there is anything wrong with that.

Season 4 for this has begun in the UK btw. Fifth episode airs today, with the season finale next week.
If you haven't watched this show, do yourself a favor. 4th season hits Netflix here in the States December 21st. I think it's definitely one of the best shows on TV. Talk of a movie, and at least two more seasons is floating around.
And yes, Tom Hardy is still in it.
