Yeah a "weather event" here today. I just stayed home and watched the cars bounce around. Reminds me of that one video from years ago of all the Portland drivers smashing around.

If you know it's gonna snow in Portland but still drive in, you deserve to sit in traffic for 3 hours. It's a well known fact that we become useless once snow happens. I've been put riding around my knoby tire CX bike and having a blast.

How stupid are people in Portland. Wait.. NM we know the answer.

Should be a good test this morning. We got 8-12 inches of snow overnight. Downtown got 6? Tyen eye in the sky might have a measurement.

In SW, at 10 or so inches now, with it still coming down. I'll admit as a transplant from the South I do not remember ever seeing this much snow outside of a mountain. Some douchenozzle ricer parked in my parking area, god I want to tow his ass, instead I think I'll just pile all the snow I shovel behind his car.

SW ish here too, about 9-10" at 5pm when I got up, then a bit more till 1 pm. They used salt I guess this time on the roads, everyone is freaking but I don't know why. I wonder which is better, the chemical death they were using or salt.

I sure hope they will use salt but I suspect side roads will still not get any snow removal and remain a mess for most people. I've been having a blast driving in the snow though.
