LachiusTZ don't think you ever posted pics of your mastiffs. Should be pretty huge puppy to barely adults now right?

160lbs, 11 months old, able to get his nose a bit over 9ft in the air when he jumps.
Should keep growing until 18-24 months...
I can't ever get a decent photo, but he is built like a brick shit house.
Really hard breed to explain. His body is long, ultra stocky, lower to the ground, long neck, walks like a big cat...

Had to put our Yorkie down yesterday, he was a bit over 16 1/2 years old. My wife and I got him about a month before we got married. At times it honestly felt like he was going to last forever. However, over the last month or so he really started to deteriorate. He had been going blind and deaf for some time, but recently was starting to walk into walls, pee in the house a lot (random places, so it was almost like he didn't know where he was), and even fell off the deck a couple times (it's like a foot drop onto the grass, but still sad). My wife and 22 year old daughter took him in and the Vet said he was most likely developing a brain tumor. She said that dogs that go blind don't just start walking into walls because they are very familiar with their home, and he most likely would started to have seizures. So it was good we brought him in when we did. To be honest, he wasn't even a great dog. Super stubborn, barked a lot (when he was younger) and really didn't do much. But he was our dog and we loved him.

We have one of those too, and she's getting older and now everything on the bottom side of that cat is just a mountain of matted cat "dreadlocks". She might be about to get a lion cut too.....

Our Norwegian Forrest cat had some issues during the summer with his eye. But after lots of money spent and many visits to the vet they fixed him up in the end.
Just glad it wasn't a birth defect that needed operation, seems he got an infection that needed some stitches to keep the eye open and antibiotics. Was a bad summer for the guy. Here he is today looking bored as usual.
