I have a sad story for dog bros, don't read warning!
So my dyson died last week, it's a DC07 so it was around 14 years, so it got it's useage, i got it a few weeks after i adopted my Shepard-Chow 14 years ago, b/c well as we all know, dogs fucking shed, and i had a chow so my carpet was literally red with fur. My buddy passed 3 years ago, to the big C, he already had an operation but he was already old, heck my vet was proud of him, most chows don't live past 9 years, especially shepards w/ hip displasia and shit. (he was also the mouth cancer doggie specialist and he stressed that my dog was pretty old)
anyway
So what's he have to do w/ my Dyson DC07 going kaput? well i just ordered a replacement motor for 20bucks and slapped it in and started it up again, i mean this dyson has been very trust worthy.
except, now it doesn't smell like my dog.
The Dyson spent so many years vacuuming my dogs fur, probably 100lbs worth of fur, that the doggie smell was embedded into the motor.
I guess every time i was vacuuming, it had a nice warm comforting feeling to it, now it's hollow and just goes vrrrrrr.

Unfortunately I had to give them up when I moved to Germany a few years back. Luckily, I only had to give them up to my parents so I get to see them a couple times a year when I go home. They're about 6 and 7 now and we've been told the breeds can live to 20 not too uncommonly.

In theory, barring things falling through, one of the little black ones is mine. It's male, so I'm thinking of naming it either Trayvon, Toby, Mandingo, or Kunte Kinte.
Jiblette, Rococo, Piri Piri Coco Berri, and #5 with fried rice are also contenders.

Scattered my dogs ashes today at her favourite reservoir, closure for me, few words said, few tears shed but very calming and a release for her to where she loved
