I truly think there is a difference between "Some stuff" and Reimagined which isn't just a snip that's from their official launch trailer.

And I agree reddit isn't exactly the most reliable but you can't deny that the majority of information for WoW private servers is posted on Reddit.

You can't cast instant spells while moving, so server reboot happening now lol.

Also I'm taking my time here, so I picked up the explorer 50% exp nerf. You really have to do all the zones to level now lol

Not even a week since release and we already have multiple 60's. And people IN THIS THREAD were trying to argue with me that it takes more than 200 hours played to reach 60.... I love being right.

people really argued that?

2019 wow classic race to 60 took 3 days 3 hours ie 75 hours /played to hit 60 and that was played straight through ie no rested bonus at all. If they are using vanilla exp then 75-80 hours is to be expected.

if epoch uses TBC exp rates/tables then it should be slightly faster around 60 hours. if its wotlk it should be around 50 hours. if there's any world buff or cash shop items that boost exp should also be faster, etc. I'm not familiar with epoch's offerings or what exp rates they are using.

Bronzebeard, despite claiming that they are using ~wotlk rates, is using rates closer to vanilla, but there's the 10% kill /15% quest exp bonus world buff that's almost always active. with aura/pots/heirlooms/world buffs/etc and how some bonuses stack additively and others stack multiplicatively you can level to 60 in about 14 hours, but reverse engineering all the buffs it adds up to around 65-70 hours, not quite vanilla but close enough. Note that none of those exp boosts will be available at launch so it'll be right around 3 days /played to hit 60 on BB as well.

It feels like vanilla xp rates, and there is no cash shop as of yet, they promise one with no pay to win just cosmetics, but time will tell, also I don't think anyone here said it would take 200 hours, that's wild

Rates aren't vanilla they have to be at least TBC

I will happily pay for giant bags.

So, have any of you Alliance found the Wailing Cavern's quest yet? They also added a lot of quests to Darkshore of all places.

Xp seems fine. Cash on quests is definitely increased over classic, which is less stressful for lvl 40 mounts.

They help fill gaps, for sure. They aren't stronger than what you find as blue drops in similar level dungeons. And they are on par with quest rewards at similar level. But if you don't do every single quest and don't quest shop to find ones with certain slots, professions are a fantastic way to fill those gear gaps.

It's a guess but getting from 1 quest hub to the next I get there at higher levels without nearly as much grinding, and I know I haven't done that many custom quests.

So either custom quests give insane exp or it's TBC levels.

It's just a guess like I said but it's def higher than actual vanilla.

You hit lvl 25 and the custom quests are all over. Doing Alliance, I ran into dozens in Wetlands and Southshore.

Warrior: rage generation is 100% broken. We aren't getting any from being hit. Not getting any from the talent that's supposed to provide 1 rage every 3 seconds. Hitting doesn't even seem to be giving enough. In dungeons, I'm rage starved 100% of the run.

I rerolled off the undead Pally, and I'm an alliance Shaman now. I snagged the explorer's contract, and I'm actually finding it fun with the 50% exp nerf. It's a good change of pace, money is absolutely no issue, and I'm decked out in AH blues with enough left over to train and enjoy my gear for longer.

The added quests are a nice touch, and have decent stories if you care to read them lol. Hit me up if you need anything (Matryarch), just hit 20 a bit ago.
