The UE5 aspect of Turtle is awesome, but holy fuck is RPPvE going to attract some of the worst fucking players imaginable.

I think I'll wait for Rexxar, especially since all the new classes are super appealing to me and mixes things up.

Yeah, it's pretty much impossible to shit talk in online chats anymore. I've eaten TONS of chat/game bans across various games for going hard in the paint on the shittalking.

Turtle is run by a tranny scammer so if do anything except confirm their delusions or even deadname the scammers original username (the one they ran the scam on on another server) you get banned.

Bro if this is what’s stopping you from playing, you might have even more issues than any dickchopper because I can count on zero fingers the number of times I’ve ever had to interact with the invariably mentally ill admins of all the ancient mmo emu’s I’ve played.

So I am seeing that the new Turtle wow server will be European. Ive never done private servers before, will that have any real effect on performance?

pretty much all emu servers are hosted in europe to avoid getting blizzards cock shoved up their ass, because wow emulators devs aren't fucking retarded like EQ ones lol.

But yeah expect around 95-105 ms latency, its somewhat annoying but playable

Downloaded and tried Turtle. Game looks like dogshit for some reason. Project Epoch looked great ( in the few hours in game I got ), no clue wtf I did wrong here.

nothing, turtle uses 1.12 client pre UI upgrade so you were likely playing in 800x400 resolution in the worst version of WoW. not even 2019 Blizzard Classic used this version of vanilla WoW.

epoch and ascension both use 3.3.5 the wotlk client, though epoch rolls back the class balance and talents to tbc era

The QoL that comes with 3.3.5 just cannot be understated. TWoW is going to have to update if they hope to keep up with Ascension
