Well in fact if you want to compare the two, then yes Jason X was better.

What made Jason X a better film was that it knew what it was, it was just Jason in the future on a spaceship killing a bunch of people. It did that and made it work, question the degree of success if you want, but it did what it set out to do.

Prometheusset out to be . . . do I need to go through the list. From being an Alien prequel/background all the way through to being an alternate theory on human evolution/origins. And with all that it made such a mess of everything.

Huh . . I read something interesting last night, That I didn't know before that was cool.

That during WWII there was a ship ( British ship called the HMS Edinburgh ) that was travelling from one of the northern Russian ports over to the USA, remember they were all allies back then.

Now the Russians were using the ship to transport nearly 5 tons of Gold ( 5 fucken tons!!! ) as payment for armourments and various supplies. Well the ship + escorts were spotted North of Norway by the Germans (Norway was German occupied ) and the Edinburgh was sunk.

It wasn't until 1981, nearly 40 years later, that the ship was found in 400m of Arctic water. They had to use saturation diving gear and equipment normally only used in the Oil Rig industry to get down that deep. And they did it and got all the gold.

Now why hasn't that been made into a Movie???
