Watched "It Ends With Us"

Blake Lively is comically sexy. Just stunning. I think she's like 45 here and I'd take her over most 25 year olds.

Movie is good, conveys an important message about leaving people who abuse you, even if you think they aren't gonna do it again / love you / whatever. I also liked that it didn't fully demonize the abusive boyfriend, showing him to have some deep-rooted traumas that gave him the bad temper he has, and allowing him to take responsibility for what he is and let her go (meaning not only did she break the cycle of abuse women in her family went through, but also the abusive boyfriend might break his own cycle of being abusive and get the help he needs, just not with her).

Movie had lots of good messages. Just liked it a lot. Look it up online and find out that the guy who played the boyfriend is actually locked in a bitter lawsuit with Blake Lively IRL over her alleging that he harassed her on set. So life imitated art I guess. Wow.

8/10 - docked a point for being kind of depressing but it's really good
You should delve deeper into that lawsuit. It seems, to most of the internet and my untrained eye, that the only person doing any abusing was Blake Lively (and Ryan Reynolds). And this is coming from someone that would put her in my top 5 list of hotties even today, and thought that almost anything Ryan did was hilarious. If I cared enough and had to pick a side, I'd pick the star/director (he's both) of that movie over those two, even though he's probably a soyboy cuck too.

Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre with Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie. Its not what one could call good. Pretty typical fare for Statham but underwhelming for Guy Ritchie. I will say, the JS fight scenes are still impressive for a guy in his mid 50s. The Hugh Grant/Josh Harnett scenes together were pretty funny. 4.5/10

Just got in from seeing "The Accountant 2."

I'm too tired to right up a review. But man, it was super-dumb and super-entertaining.

I love that they brought in "The Punisher" and didn't even try to pretend he wasn't Frank Castle.

Super-stupid movie that was somehow wildly entertaining. The theater may have been pumping nitrous oxide into the cinema, because the movie will make you smile.

It really doesn't have a plot, just steals tons of material from other action movies/TV shows (and novels) and sews them together like a blood-splattered quilt.

The real title of the film should have been "Rain-X Men."

Terrible, But fucking great. That's my review.

I remember sneaking into the theater and seeing this after seeing Batteries Not Included. We didn't know a thing about it, other than Robin Williams, my 13 year old self still enjoyed it lol.

Yeah it made me want to watch other (better imho) Vietnam movies so I 'bought' Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, and Flight of the Intruder. All excellent movies!

I love this flick because it takes vampire hunting to a more practical method. Plus James Woods just cussing up a storm.

All John Carpenter movies are pretty much terrible with just enough good that makes it fun to watch.

I mean I would say the movie is funny because its not taking itself seriously. I dont know how practical the movie in itself is at all.

It ends with james woods asking the priest if he chubbed out over killing a female vampire, and the priest replies "mahogany"

Watched that new Working Man flick with Statham. 7.5/10. I mean by now if you don't know/like his solo action movie style you'll prolly not enjoy it as much. It's a decent no-brain watch.

Bro why you do me like this. Why?? He's probably my favorite director.
Hating on John Carpenter is just straight up commie talk and I won't stand for it.

Escape from New York, The Thing, Big Trouble in Little China, Halloween etc. All childhood classics.

Even if you're a sour puss and don't like his movies you gotta appreciate the meme material he's created.
