I remember going to see it in the theater with my dad. Was expecting a good movie, but was probably the best I had seen in a long time. Make certain to watch it once a year, it's just so good, and a shame they didn't do a follow-up based on another one of the novels.

Jaws @50. The documentary. If you liked Jaws or movie making shit, its an enjoyable watch. I learned some shit I didn't know like how they only used 8 Hollywood actors in the entire film. Every other part (speaking and non-speaking) was a local on the island for realism (or a cameo like Benchley). Or how Shaw and Dreyfuss didn't get along on the set and a lot of the animosity you see between the characters is real. It was supposed to be a 60 day shoot on location on Martha's Vineyard and ended up being more than 7 months.

Rewatched Interstellar (2014) again today. I really enjoyed this movie at the theater when it initially came out. Watching it again (this would be like my 6-7 rewatch) I cannot help but fell like Cooper and the Female Dr Brand were miscast. McConaughey talks too monotone and Hathaway looks like a buck toothed chicken and I cannot take her serious as a Doc. Also, they really need to have like an averaged audio on Noland's movies. Thankfully I had subtitles on so I could tell what they were talking about when it was at a whisper and didn't have to blow my ears out when the highs hit.

kroenen kroenen I'm assuming you probably have a thread about this film, and it's really good. My score really well shot and I like the fact that it's a guy and his dog, and anytime you have an isolated protagonist, just makes her a good movie.

I may be about halfway through but it's nice because I don't really know where the hell it's going, and if I can immediately figure it out that's typically a good sign.

Sorry, my mind reading capabilities are a bit rusty. Would you mind filling me in on what movie you're watching?

Fucking TtT. Shepard is the movie, thinks it's on Shudder.

Nope, no thread made by me. I hadn't even seen the trailer or heard of the movie. A rare thing for a horror aficionado like myself. I guess you just hit me with a Mortal Kombat Fatality.

It's pretty good, definitely worth checking out.

Also, is the guy in the Mortal Kombat gif wearing a fucking watermelon helmet?

Spun . Thought it would be a fun weird drug movie like 'John dies at the end', instead it's a shit movie about shit on shit drugs.

1/10 only because Brittany Murphy looks good in this. Consider this a service announcement and avoid

Daniel Isn't Real. Starts off pretty slow, but it goes pretty bonkers Midway through. Almost thought I was watching a damn a Cronenberg or even a David Lynch movie.

Pretty good overall, and definitely didn't go into the direction that I thought it was. Dare I say cosmic horror which is such a cliche now, but that's definitely got some elements of that.

Totally worth your time.
