She's dying because she was a dumb whore that didn't want to be with a man that loved her. She only came back when she finally needed him more than she could ignore. She was the antagonist for sure.

Glenn Close said the same thing about her character in fatal attraction, she was the victim.

Watched the Parallax View (1974) with Warren Beatty. Older movies always suffer from the lack of CGI and a certain sense of realism in the stunts because of the limitations of the time. That being said, the subject matter is very timely to today's world. Some shit doesn't change. Definitely worth a watch if for no other reason to contrast it to today's events. 8/10
Im not going to spoil anything beyond giving the movie teaser... "An ambitious reporter gets in trouble while investigating a senator's assassination which leads to a vast conspiracy involving a multinational corporation behind every event in the world's headlines"

ps.. The ending is rock solid and probably wouldn't be shot in today's Hollywood.

Watched Black Hat last night. Didn't realize it was a Michael Mann film. Not his greatest, but it was pretty good I guess.

Big Phoenix Big Phoenix I had rewatched Williams in One Hour Photo. Saw it back in college, and it's definitely one of his most distinct roles. It's a different type of film, but it's worth checking out.

This week I watched the Valet (2022) w/ Samara Weaving. It felt like a love-letter to latino entry-level workers. Movie itself had a pretty weak plot but lots of eye candy w/ Samara Weaving and Marisol Nichols. I'm surprised a movie like this came out in 2022, during peak woke cinema, and it wasn't cast with a Lizzo-look-a-like or like Hunter Schafer (with no other changes to the script).

Speaking of Samara Weaving, a couple of guys on here recommended Ready or Not. I watched it a few evenings ago, and it was a pretty good movie. Definitely wasn't what I was expecting, but it was worth the time.

Has she been in that many horror movies though? I think this is the first I've ever seen her in, unless I'm forgetting some other movie I've watched.
She actually been in quite a few.

3 episodes of Ash V Evil Dead.
Bad Girl more of a thriller than horror though.
Mayhem
The Babysitter
Ready or Not
Babysitter Killer Queen
Scream 6
Azrael

I just watched The Empty Man. Probably one of the better horror movies I've seen in a while. Didn't anticipate where it was headed, but was totally worth the watch.

Ok, I've seen Mayhem and Azrael, both weren't bad. None of the others though.
I definitely recommend The Babysitter. It's a Netflix movie but it was really fun.

The Empty Man is fucking great. Definitely recommend.

Adding it to my list! I watched s1 of ash v evil dead but don’t remember her in it. I remember Judy Lawless and I’m a big evil dead trilogy fan.
ReWatched men in tights today and was considering rewatching army of darkness next.

watched underwater, for some sea floor horror, it was really meh. then watched paul blart mall cop, it was surprisingly better than I thought, not a great movie by any means, but definitely funnier than I expected, also some unexpected blatant non-woke stuff

I liked underwater, but it's pretty slow lovecraftian horror. Won't be for everyone.
