Just finished Society of the Snow. Newest version of Alive.

I remember reading the book back in 8th grade and I think the 90s version with Ethan Hawke came out pretty close to that time, and it's a pretty faithful. This one's a little grittier, but extremely well shot, and for it being a foreign film and just being difficult to tell who is what person for a bit, by the end it really pulls on your heartstrings. It's probably a more faithful adaptation than the 90s version.

I thought it was a very good rendition, not a fun movie by any stretch of the imagination, but a great movie nonetheless.

Flight Risk with Marky Mark.

Holy shit is this bad. Marky Mark amd Mel Gibson directing. How could this be bad, you say? Trust me. This movie has all th earmarks of Walberg and Gibson having one final film due on a 3 film contract and they both just want to get it done so they can go do something better.

Avoid this film like you would avoid a jogger coming toward you on the sidewalk.

Too late, watched it a bit ago, and I don't really remember anything, so I guess that's a plus.

Just watch it on Stremio with the torrentio plug in.

Or use www.goku.sx
Was just catching up on this thread, and wanted to highlight your post. My brother-in-law had shown us Stremio earlier this year and I was just like whatever (I usenet everything). But we got it going this week and holy shit is it awesome.

It's like Plex and torrenting in one without any of the work, or having to store anything. I'm still going to keep my usenet stuff for music, but I'm about ready to purge my libraries and free up tons of hard drive space.
