Our sources tell us ... witnesses saw Alan riding his motorcycle down the street in Brentwood, TN, ahead of his two kids on their mini-bikes Sunday afternoon. We're told their neighbor, Ronnie Taylor, bolted into the street to try to stop Alan's bike in a "really aggressive" manner.

As a result, Alan crashed, falling off his motorcycle and suffering cuts and bruises, as well as a minor injury to his finger, our sources say.

We're told Ronnie dared Alan to hit him while yelling at the actor, who was still on the ground. But our sources say Alan did not take the bait and tried to defuse the situation by jumping on his bike to leave.

However, Ronnie shoved Alan to the ground, prompting Alan to beat the crap out of his neighbor, which was caught on camera.

Could be. Pushing someone off of a motorcycle is pretty wild. You might have had your friend filming you murdering a guy in front of his kids.

Could be, but also there's nothing wrong with riding up and down the street for any reason. They weren't bothering anybody.

I agree with the "doing shit" part, but it didn't look like Ritchson and his boys were doing anything other than riding? When the guy came out in front of him it looked to me like he was going 20mph or so? His speedo says 21-23mph. Thats completely reasonable speed for a neighborhood and the video doesn't show them doing anything out of pocket.

Even if Alan was speeding up and down the streets (which is questionable here) soon as he started pushing him Alan had the right to beat his ass.

Residential is 15 in any subdivision. If he was at 23mph he needed to take it down.

I'll give you it's possible this particular subdivision might have been 20 limit. But that's very rare.

30mph, 15mph would be insane. I think my alley has 15mph speed limit signs and people still bust that. Go try and drive 15mph down a 30 foot wide residential street like that, you'll get rear ended or shot.

15mph is a crawl, that would be the limit for alleys in a city not rural neighborhoods. Would expect 25-30 in almost every state.

3 bikes on the same fucking street is also very loud and annoying

1 bike is annoying, these are quiet streets, this neighborhood is probably so quiet it's surrounded by 2 churches
