Yea, it's a damn shame. The guy could have been the next Sly or Arnold, but instead he went and jumped into the Liberal pool of toxic waste and took a big gulp. They'll farm him for Reacher to those who can "separate the artist from the art", but he'll never get as big as he could have by keeping his retardation in check.

Unfortunately this is one of the stories that Lee Child's brother helped with. They tend to not be as good. I watched the first 2 episodes. Will watch because I like the character though. Probably try Neagley as well.

I'm through the first two episodes. This show is infinitely better without a strong, sassy, black woman who don't take no shit from nobody. It does NOT inspire confidence in the Neagley spinoff.

Also the side characters suck this season compared to season 1-2

So far it's just plain retardation, not really woke. That's sort of what you expect with this show though.

This season is based on Gone Tomorrow (#13) and most fans consider it one of the best Reacher books. Andrew Child didn't start taking over the series until #25.

But yeah, it's definitely shaping up to be the worst season of the show by far. The supporting cast is weak and I don't know what the fuck the show's writers were thinking when they decided to drop the book's ending twist into episode 4. Either they just don't care about spoiling it this early or they've completely rewritten the entire third act.
