Wtf did he think he was going to get asked?
seriously. even with the vast majority of Reddit toeing the democratic party line to a tee, it should have been obvious to everyone that Jesse Jackson's bullshit wasn't going to go over well.

Where we stand right now:

Reddit fired Victoria, their AMA liaison. She was extremely well-liked and, up until recently, very good at her job.

This act of admin bullshittery has served as the tipping-point on reddit, as now hundreds upon hundreds of mods are shutting down their subreddits as a show of solidarity. Most of the subreddits going dark are small and shitty, but a number of high-profile subreddits have gone dark. You can watch in real-time as mods either throw their hat in with Victoria and shut down, or take the bitch route and stay open -->[live] Victoria's Secret/AMAgeddon

This is really fascinating to watch as they go dark. Never been a huge reddit fan myself, but it has it's uses.

Reddit is worthless to begin with, but it's really worthless if it doesn't have any moderators or subreddits.

Can't stop laughing at all of the mods stating they aren't going dark because this issue is "petty" and "doesn't involve them", or that they're staying up to "defend their community". What a load of self-serving horseshit. These people should be shamed so fucking hard.

Only KotakuInAction gets a pass because they're deliberately staying up to catalog the insanity.

edit: another default subreddit bites the dust. /r/lifehacks is dark.

Jesse Jackson came into the buzzsaw that is a reddit AMA completely unprepared, clearly expecting nothing but softball questions. I'm not sure how that's her fault.
