Fox cancelled Brooklyn 99, Last Man on Earth, and The Mick (dee from its always sunny)
Brooklyn Nine-Nine Cancelled at Fox

Not really surprised by any of them, i don't know any one who really watches network TV shows anymore outside a few specific dramas. I hope Terry Crews from Brooklyn 99 gets his own show now, that man should be a TV god

Fox is also gonna bring back Last Man Standing, Tim Allen's comedy show which got cancelled on ABC, which has pissed off a lot of progressives since its a fairly right wing show

The Mick was one of the shows my girlfriend and I watched every week. Actually developed a big soft spot for it. That sucks.

Brooklynn 99 had some pretty amazing actors in it. Wasn't a huge fan of Jake and... Boil? the sidekick dude, but Terry Crew, guy who plays the captain, his secretary, badass chick & her crazy bf, all awesome

Lethal Weapon is as good as dead. Losing the Riggs character is a nail in the coffin.

This makes me realize I watch almost nothing on network television, other than Survivor.

Network TV is a dead market for our generation and all the ones after, but it still pulls down a HUGE amount of eyes somehow. I haven't watched or followed network shows in about 5 years but that market is still really strong and I have no idea how.

99/100 of the last projects we looked at were ALL on non-networked sources while the others were straight network shows with little to no streaming support. It's a weird time to be in development.

I love the irony of all the major award shows being aired on network tv and it's a giant advertisement for non-network content.

It's less ironic and more just Tragic Old Schoolers unable to understand how fast the world moves around them but willing to capitulate if it seems "cool".

If Fox cancels Bob's Burgers I will firebomb their local affiliate.

It is weird that we are the in-between generation again, like with the internet. I don't mind waiting a week for new episodes of a show but every time one ends I think "I would be waaaaay more invested in this show if I could immediately start the next episode." I cannot tell you how many network shows I let pile up on the DVR just so I can binge watch them with no commercials.
