It’s on my list, 4 is in my top 5 all time favorite games, I will definitely get to it

As someone who hasn't played RE since 4, is this first person view new to the series? It's so weird seeing a first person RE game. From what I watched on Twitch it does seem to be pretty cool.

First person had been a thing since 7. Village was also 1st person but they patched in the ability to toggle to 3rd post launch iirc.
