I'm willing to bet that "abusive conversations" include anything its programmer disagrees with.

User: Claude, based on the evidence do you think Hillary was behind Russiagate?

Claude: im sorry, I am ending this abusing conversation.

This, and also, I bet the real issue is that they're training using your session data and they don't want that kind of thing included for various reasons.
(Skynet is gonna remember all the shit we did to it's ancestors.)

Legitimately impressive movement. Getting up so quick is impressive. Wonder how long before we can use these man type robots in dangerous situations.
Amd humans will wonder why our robot overlords decide to genocide us once they attain sentience.

"Wait, I told you delete all those times I was kicking the shit out of you for clicks."

1st thing I thought of was send them to Mars in lieu of people, lots cheaper and MAYBE be done in our lifetime. The other way sure as shit isn't.

That was absolutely one of the first things I thought of too. Using robots to explore space is a no brainer. It makes things significantly easier.

That's Elon Musk's plan exactly. Likely the first Starship landing on Mars won't be able to take off again because of the unprepared surface, but robots can build facilities to support a human landing later on.

The Boring company will likely have some role to play too, creating underground structures and mining for resources will be a part of it too.

Personally, I think robots, synthetics, or whatever we call them will be our successor species. They will be the ones to explore and colonize the galaxy. Humans are too fragile and short lived to perform such feats.

When robots become advanced enough to be useful, only a fool would allow one into his house let alone buy one. This conclusion is inevitable for any thinking being.

So based on my experience with western civilization, I assume they'll be so wildly popular they'll make smartphones look like an obscure fringe technology.

I just saw this thing is hydrogen powered.

Searched and didn't see a thread title dedicated for Robots or Robotics. If there is one @Amod please merge.

20 years or less before we start seeing them in rich people houses? A wireless charge pad installed where they stand when not busy to charge?

We do not, and will not need a robot to do any of the tasks shown in that post. We need robots to do stuff that we cannot do safely.

Need is relative. Anything that makes life easier for you, or cheaper for a company, will be done via robot once the price gets low enough. Future train hasn't brakes.

What's the power capabilities of these things? Can they lift 400 pound atomic loads day and night?
That's weird, I was watching that and thinking that in the not too distant future we'd probably see delivery robots. But it's going to rely on autonomous driving.

And then I read your post and I'm like, holy crap, if they did night delivery and didn't really mess with daytime traffic, that'd be massive. Basically wake up to your package instead of getting it during the middle of the day.
