I don't see the big deal. He was redeemed in a cheesy way, but I've been given multiple nets by the same person so I assume the system has changed?

My point is that even if he made it to positive land, if he continues to be a shitty poster, people can neg him again and he will fall back in to the land of below zero and suffer the consequences. I don't really care who gets free nets from a one time opportunity fun thing that happens only once a year. Maybe that's just me. Could take away all my nets from the gift thread and I'd still be fine. The one neg I do have wasn't even explained and it was on a post where I was discussing things rationally, so I don't really know. The nets system has always been open to the human interpretation side of things, plus people just being dicks and giving negs or whatever kind of nets for any reason they want. Kind of natural with a community this big, especially with some of the trolls we have.

people who daily wait for their nets to be unlocked so they can give out nets to people who wanted them in the netsmas thread got all their time erased because draegan was being plain mean. we had a decent thread going there and we still kinda do, people who usually argue all year over nothing were getting along helping everyone out of their neg holes and building up their scores so they could start again next year. not sure why some people were hating on that. ive been told that i ruined the nets system or exploited it somehow, i keep asking how have i ruined something that had no value in the first place? back in the day when i used to post on Lost Heaven.com (a mafia gaming mod board) you could earn cars, guns and weapons icons next to your avatar through posting rewards. here you get nothing. so why should anyone be upset i helped some people out for 25 days out of the entire year on their nets?

Needs to be a multiple currency system. The Picard/Worf was flawed but I think something like Ned Stark, Archer, and Scarlett Johansson would suffice. DO NOT CLARIFY WHAT THESE MEAN IN ANY OFFICIAL CAPACITY. Let the internet sort it out.

How many nets do you need so you can stop running instances ?

Nets are serious business.

They really cut into headcount reduction efforts.

We need tiers of nets that depend on where they're given.

White nets are for the general forums.
Yellow nets are for the gaming forums.
Purple nets are for the retard forums (rickshaw and askAmod)

Not only should you not remove nets, but all you faggots that are that abusing the system to get fake nets from mods need to GTFO

Nets have always been stupid. Change them to agree/disagree with no number tally so arguments can be saved.
