As a computer engineer myself the idea of it is cool but just reading the last page indicates to me it's not for me.

I just ordered an s26 ultra. Been getting pixels for years but the last two my wife had bricked themselves so fuck them.
Speaking of, I just got my Pixel 11 Pro XL yesterday. It is super convenient that nowadays they just copy everything over and the new phone is exactly like the old phone, I have to say.

However, that now leaves me feeling like nothing changed, and why did I upgrade from an 8 to an 11? I mean, I know the answer, mostly the camera, and maaaaaaybe it will be a little snappier, but unless I buy something like a fold, I barely notice that I got a new phone. Yay?

I'll probably notice when the AI shit starts trying to inject itself into everything I use the phone for, but let's hope I'm wrong.

To be honest I usually just upgrade when my phone starts to lose charge or get hot or there's some deal. They had a trade in deal so that's the only reason I even upgraded.

My wife's pixel 3 kept overheating and calling 911. Actually had police find us at a baseball game because it called 911 without us knowing.

Yeah, since I use their network (Google Fi) they gave me like $600 off or some shit, and then another $250 if my trade in is fine, so it only came to like $30 a month for two years. I spend more on stupid shit Lanx recommends on Amazon, so after wishing my camera were a little better after going to Alaska last month I figured why not? Otherwise, I went from a 2 to an 8 the last time, which actually felt like an upgrade.
