Missed the game live, but just finished watching at home... Pretty sure neither of those teams look worthy of CL next season based on that performance. Arsenals defense = not enough vulgarity in the English language to cover my thoughts on it. Santos should take the next flight back to wherever the fuck he was bought from. That guy couldn't get minutes at Aston Villa for fucks sake.
1st half, we were quite lucky to only be down 1. Second half, I thought we dominated. Not sure why Pool parked the bus, as they looked threatening on the break - but the quality in the final 3rd from those not named Suarez leaves a lot to be desired. Attacking, Arsenal looked fine (even in spells in the first half)... but if AW re-watches that game and says we've enough quality to nick that 4th spot I'll pull my fucking hair out. If nobody gets injured from now till May, I agree with him... sort of. But if ANYONE goes down we're fucked. Gibbs out for 3 weeks means 3 weeks of Santos. FUUUUUUUUCK. Robben is licking his lips in anticipation.
Thought Wilshere was great though, as well as Santi/Giroud. Wilshere has the potential to be all world - which probably means he'll be gone in 2 years just as he's coming into world class form.
Watched highlights of Madrid/Barca... That Varane kid is the best young defender I've ever seen. Played absolutely terrifically and has superstar written all over him.
At least Chelski blew it to Reading and Spuds drew as well to keep us within touching distance. Still think it'll be tight between Arse/Spuds for that 4th spot, but we'll see. Chelski isn't exactly "in form".
