There's a lot of supporters that insert themselves into the shoes of our Mary-Sue president, and Trey Parker & Matt Stone are being very disrespectful towards their feelings. They should prepare to be sued.
Woah, buddy. Faggot talk like this gets you banned 'round these parts. You wanna be banned you little bitch?!

Don't worry South Park will make fun of trannies, DEI retards or some other leftist ideology before too long and the media will be back to wanting them cancelled.

Sitting through the relentless moaning about Jesus was boring, there weren't a lot of laughs to be had; the whole thing was ironically them preaching instead of doing comedy. Haha here's a tiny penis, here it is again! One more time! Blah.

edit: I laughed only one time during the episode, at the closing scene, as it was the only comedic moment they spent any effort building towards.

They went hard. Cartman and Butters attempting suicide was a pretty blatant metaphor. They *just* signed a $1.5B deal with Paramount and the merger still isn't final and they did their absolute best to blow the whole thing up which is pretty baller. They were basically begging Trump to sue them. Of course getting butthurt about South Park making fun of you is the most uncool thing you can possibly do, but they were really asking for it.

They'd only lose their money if they went after the deportations and speech laws re: Israel, which is why they didn't.

Yea the show that had Cartman become a border patrol agent and electrocute Mexicans will def only be canceled if they make fun of that.
Oh I know its when Cartman called the border Patrol on kyle and his family and had Kyle locked up in a kids prison
No its def when they had white people coming to said prison and adopt kids like one adopts a dog
Or have all the kids going to Kyle with their movie ideas cause Jews control Hollywood
Defiantly not when Carman literally became Hitler

They are doing one of those deepfake videos weekly, and they are going to push it hard and I am here for it. Shit was hysterical.

Since you edited I might as well.

And what about any of this invites consequences as that was the question? Oh right nothing, they're simply signaling their flavor of red team blue team slop as usual.
I'll restate my point: they'll never properly touch the new anti Semitism speech laws and people being deported for their stance on Israel as that would indeed cost them something.

Whatever.

That would maybe track if they were not going through the merger with Skydance.
Honestly....

I don't think the $16m settlement was a "bribe" to Trump. They could have gotten the merger done one way or another. It was CBS realizing that either they settle, or in the trial a lot of how they did what they did with Democrats and the media would have been outted very publicly. And they did the calculus and figured it would do more than $16m in damage.

The Southpark stuff, if even motivated at all by CBS would have been their impotent clapback to show they weren't "in Trump's pocket" and maintain some of their industry bona fides. Wouldn't even surprise me if the settlement included a "We can say/do whatever we want for X months after this settlement without a repeat suit" clause.

This was Trump gets paid, he gets his win, they get to clapback with Southpark and save face, and they get to blame Trump for cancelling a show that was losing them $40m a year (Colbert) which will make the merger so smoother. Wins all around for the low low price of $16m.
