On that note, I can't remember if she was actually pregnant or not, but I could see Ashur taking the kid if she gave birth (who was fathered by Crixus) and making him a gladiator slave. Not sure what the time table here is post-Spartacus. Caeser doesn't look to be absolute ruler yet and all that happened like 25ish years after the war with Spartacus IRL

Yeah it does, I get the plot reasons- it is just silly.

Ashur dies in what, middle of S2? It was during a raid on the slave rebels hideout area- so I am sure instead of his betrayal failing, it works... as he kills Spartacus from behind - as they show in the preview.

While it does not look overly awesome blossom, and the girl boss aspect... it did not look look like pure crap- it really is the house drama arena fighting and political rome nonsense focus of S1 and Gods of the Arena - as S2 and 3 really had to do with the revolt and "war" - as well, was expected due to...like...history.

That said, I most likely will give it a try, although I hated Ashur as a character lol...but I think everyone did, as that was /the point/

I can't see how they are going to rehabilitate Ashur, one of the biggest TV douche bags of all time, and turn Spartacus into a grrl boss at the same time.

But if it's got lots of hot young tits I'll give it a go.

as long as they don't go the 'it's all a dream' crap, or 'his vision of life flashes before his eyes as he actually dies' then I'll be... well , not happy, but at least not rage inducingly annoyed.

Well it is an alternate history from a certain point where it kicks off on its own from mid? S2 of Spartacus. How they explain it? If they care? lol but if your wanting to keep Spartacus timeline as “real” then this has to be some form of what you said. Or like “the gods pondered what would happen if…”
