I'm watching all of those except Seraph. Am I missing out?

Is the Spring season over now? If so, I have a huge case of blue balls for DanMachi / Shokugeki..

It's very good. Yes you are missing out.

Seraph isn't terrible but it doesn't really seem like the plot is going to go anywhere until fall. If I were you I'd wait and catch up then.

Also I'm not saying Grisaia was the best show this season, it's just the one I enjoyed the most from start to finish. IMO it was the most consistently good one, never any mediocre episodes. The same can't be said for other shows, even Shokugeki and DanMachi. I may be in the minority here but I really didn't like UBW that much. Maybe it's because I hated the characters compared to Fate/Zero, but I enjoyed Zero a hell of a lot more. I think I enjoyed all the backroom plotting and adults being adults in Zero rather than stupid anime kids being stupid anime kids in UBW. Also Rin is the most horribly overrated character ever.

Yeah, zero makes for a very poor contrast story and character wise. I still liked UBW, the comparison just made me sad for how good it could have been.

I think its hard to compare them. Zero just looks like a much better story overall, hard to bring UBW up to that level considering it has to involve Shiro. Iskander alone is pretty much better than anything UBW could hope to achieve.

Idothink that a good comparison is the original Fate/stay night anime from like a decade ago. I forced myself to finish it before watching Zero (since it came out first, of course!) and compared to that one, UBW is amazeballs!

I mean, its not the worst thing ever, but its just not very good. The animation itself is way below what ufotable did with Zero/UBW, the fight scenes are bad, and every time Shiro uses magic, its a big spiel with the "Trace On!" thing. The story is much more about school and eating breakfast with Sakura, and less crazy mage war. The first few episodes are pretty parallel, so its kinda interesting to spot the differences, but after that its just more tedious than anything.

A friend and her brother both recommended Zero to me, and is why I watched the series in the first place, but neither one of them finished the old Stay Night. If you love the series, go for it, but it nowhere near Zero or UBW.

If you're interested in action, there isn't a lot of it in that series. It's drama that pushes the story along, and very little action. The "threat" of action is much bigger than actual action..

That's the biggest change.

He's probably used to weird boners, he has the strangest harem I have run across before - in addition to the token fangirl, an alien space zombie, a cyborg hermaphrodite and a 60ft tall tentacle monster ?

So DanMachi's last episode is tomorrow? Wow, that sucks... Such a huge let down. These last 2 episodes really took the wind out of my sails, especially after the endlessly awesome Bell vs. Minotaur episode. He was a badass.

Yeah, if there's no second series it ended pretty well.

Food Wars was interesting, but it danced a little bit close to food porn imo. Enjoyable but it felt like an obvious two-parter almost the entire way through.

I liked DanMachi's ending, but what became of Aiz and company? They were all in that same area, yet completely absent from the episode. It was cool seeing Bell do his thing, though. It makes me want a season 2, just to see how his stats worked out after that.
