Episode was called "Living Record" or something like that. That episode was probably one of my favorite Voyager episodes.

It's also probably a pretty accurate depiction of what happens with history a lot. Many of the "worst" emperors of Rome had their histories told by their rivals/enemies - if you lack enough context or additional information and all you have to rely upon are those records, then it becomes difficult to dispute the "official" record.

Not that I was going to be watching it anyway, but refresh my memory, this is the show where the fat chick from Discovery who somehow gained a dozen ranks over two years time is their main instructor?

That said, SHOULD Paramount give a shit if I'm going to watch it?

1. Will less of our age group (dudes who are already out of the 18-49 demo, or rapidly getting close to doing so) watch this than, say, a Strange New Worlds spinoff? Probably.
2. Will more younger audience watch this than they would, say, a Strange New Worlds spinoff. Also probably.
3. What is the additional value of hooking a 20-something into watching Star Trek / paying for a Paramount+ sub, and doing so for another decade into the future, than making someone already in the fandom / subscribed "happier", which nets Paramount no additional revenue? Now there's the tricky calculation.

TL; DR - Paramount giving their subscribers Strange New Worlds and a Strange New Worlds spinoff will likely result in less total subscriptions now and into the future than giving subscribers Strange New Worlds and something like Starfleet Academy, even if the former audience doesn't want the latter show.

Yeah I think I will skip this. It is just blah. I love how they wait for the ship to come together and then think about firing.

so far in the future that Jem Hadar are now females (or a tranny? Tran'Hadar) and members of the federation, and the captain of a fed starship has glasses?

They don't give a fuck about the cow they just want to milk it as much as they can before it dies. It's dead Jim.

I'm still hoping for more Orville and Expanse.

The Jem Hadar is supposedly a Klingon and Jem Hadar hybrid.

Lore wise I have less of an issue with that since this is hundreds of years post DS9. Odo throughout DS9 wanted to make Jem Hadar more than what they were cloned to be (soldiers). Allowing them to sexually reproduce and not be ketracel white dependent would be logical first steps in giving them more autonomy. Jem Hadar and Klingons also had a lot in common in terms of honor/love of battle, so them hooking up makes sense lol
